"I live in the area, so I know that through the years there have been many big plans floated to turn what was Elvis Presley's ranch into something great, but it seems all that has ever happened is just a lot of talk with no action ever taking place. It is nice to see that the state has been able to recognize the value of the site with a marker, unfortunately the marker is all there is to see at this time. Edit: After talking with my barber who used to live very close to the site, I have gained additional information that may be helpful to visitors to the site. The building closest to the marker has NOTHING to do with the ranch as it was when Elvis owned it. It is in fact a branch bank building that, according to my barber, was built in the late 1980's-early 1990's, and was only open for a couple years before it closed down and was never reoccupied by any other business. Apparently whoever owned the property at the time sold the corner to the bank to build one of their locations on. I did think the building looked like a bank at the time of my visit, since it had one of the drive-thru windows characteristic of a bank on the back of the building."

"It's very derelict. Definitely a cool thing to see. A piece of history no doubt. The bridge and cross are visible from the road but not able to be visited without trespassing. Very run down. Very sad but definitely a piece of the history that's worth seeing for yourself."

"FANTASTIC but just a shame it’s so derelict, hopefully someone who knows the importance of this ranch will Inject the cash needed to bring it back to life again, doing something with it for all Elvis fans out there. It could become maybe somewhere for us to come visit and get in touch with the spiritual side of what Elvis was all about, to love this place as Elvis did ❤️but not to have it as a commercially seen & profitable business lining someone’s pocket but a business that keeps it running for the fans, not for greed!!"
