"I had a wisdom tooth removed and as far as getting a tooth ripped out of my head it was a great experience. For the negative reviews, the only thing I can think of is the self importance of modern society and just how do many people are miserable human beings. If you've worked customer service, you know."
"I would give 0 if I could. I got a referral to this office from my doctor for TMJ. Rude receptionist from the very beginning. I asked to use the restroom, was told to wait a minute and no one ever opened the door for me. I sat there for and hour and a half and then was told I would have to give hundreds and when I asked why they weren't running my insurance I was told they don't take my type. Why wasn't I told that before waiting an hour and a half wait? Better yet why did they accept my referral in the first place knowing they didn't accept my insurance?"
"All 4 wisdom teeth pulled in one visit. The staff was unbelievably kind and have called multiple times to check on me, and answered any questions I had once I got home. The pain has been a bit much but my bottom wisdom teeth were royally messed up to start with. The IV start was one of most painless I've ever had, very impressed. And I appreciated the no warning of going under with the anesthesia because of how bad my anxiety is while at dentist offices. I feel terrible for being grumpy and confused when I woke back up, and definitely need to send flowers to the office when I have recovered. This office is awesome!"
"IMPORTANT: This establishment has 2 pages to leave reviews, check hours, make appointments, etc. PLEASE LOOK AT BOTH PAGES AND REVIEWS BEFORE EVER CONSIDERING GOING HERE. They are trying to hide all the negative reviews with this new page that practically has 5 stars where the old page is under 4. If I knew about the old page n was able to read the reviews on that one before I made the appointment, I WOULD’VE NEVER COME HERE. They’re terrible. They’re horrendous. They don’t care about you, just your money. Please, please, PLEASE do you research n go somewhere else. Take this from a naïve 21 woman who got taken advantage of. IT’S NOT WORTH IT. If there was a rating for zero stars. I’d put one. Or hell, even one in the negatives. I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out by Dr.Marty. They put me under n I didn’t feel a thing, thank god. As soon as I woke up I did, though. My face has been swollen for a week! To the point where it looks like my cheeks are going to pop. I ran out of the pain medication Dr. Marty prescribed me over the weekend (surgery was Thursday) I’ve been in unbearable pain for the last two days. I’ve been calling the office to get in as soon as possible, but they keep pushing me off. It was so bad that I even went to the ER at Mad River. Dr. Marty insisted that I needed bone graphing, claiming my bottom two teeth “were close to the nerve,” I honestly never knew what bone graphing was, so as soon as I got home from the procedure; I googled it. A MAJORITY of people NEVER need this procedure. Not unless they have bone loss in their jaw or gum disease. I have neither. In all honestly, I’m dissatisfied and disappointed. I’m paying out of pocket for this procedure n I didn’t nearly get a positive visit out of this like the rest of the patients. No staff called me to see how I was doing. They only explained things when I asked very detailed questions, they have yet to schedule be in for an appointment or refill my prescriptions. Needless to say, thank god we only have one set of wisdom teeth because I would NEVER go here again. I think what is even more sad, is that my mother, uncle, and MULTIPLE family friends have gone to this practice and have been treated much better than I ever was. My hopes were high for this establishment, as I had been reading all the reviews before my visit, as well. What a MAJOR letdown. Update: I finally was able to get a new prescription, this time not hydrocodone like before, but instead Tylenol with codine. This took half a dozen calls to get. When I got to the office to pick up my doctors note (I was only suppose to be out of work for 3 days... that’s now turned into a week) they tried to act closed! I arrived at 4:30. Even on google it says they’re open till 5pm. So I try the door. It’s locked. I go back to my car, look up their hours, just to see they’re still open! I go back up to door n pound on it, they take more than 10 minutes to open the door n were refusing to give me my note. On top of that they refused to refill my anti nausea medication. I’m finally able to start chewing on one side of my mouth. But my molers hurt, like something is trying to push them out. They’re very sensitive, I haven’t been able to close my jaw since the surgery, because of how sensitive they are. I have a good feeling it is because of the bone graphing that I didn’t need. Thank god, I have an appointment on Thursday to see what is going on. I’m also calling my regular dentist, to make sure everything is okay with my teeth. I don’t trust this establishment at all. Especially after all the negative reviews I’ve read from the other page. They have two pages for their business. Probably to hide the fact that the other page is under 4 stars with TONS of negative reviews. I highly suggest looking at both pages and reviews before EVER considering going here.$"
"I've had 4 wisdom teeth and 4 other teeth removed, all at once with Dr. Martey. I had nothing but pleasant experiences with him with all my follow ups. I am in the process of completing my one implant he recommended. Other surgeons would have pushed for more to get more money but he simply stated I could get by with the one implant to save money. He is always kind, precise and very gentle. The process is almost at the year mark and it's been a great experience overall."
