"Billings are horrible I got a notice saying I owed $94 stopped by the office and they couldn't find where I owed anything and said don't worry about it. Four weeks later I get a collections bill which I pay immediately its been three weeks and the collection company still hasn't deposited the check. My service was also sub par on my MRI the guy put earplugs in my ear and pushed them into deep. He couldn't get it out and said I'm on my own. ??"
"I had the same experience others have had. The collection agency started calling me last year, so I contacted my insurance. They told me MSI had submitted the bill with incorrect coding. They reached out to them to have them correct it, and all should have been good. A month ago I started getting calls from the collection agency again. They said my insurance had paid part of the bill, but I still owed $181. I called my insurance yesterday, and they told me MSI was balance billing. They called and spoke to Heidi at MSI who told them she would try to correct it so that they accept the amount that insurance allows, but it may take 2-3 weeks. I will be reaching out to the Tennessee department of commerce and insurance to file a complaint since it looks like they are doing this regularly."
"We have the same billing issues as other reviews. The billing department did not process our insurance correctly, leaving an outstanding balance of $108. The balance should be zero. We never received a bill and they turned us over to a collection agency. The billing department has indicated that they will correct the billing issue. We have spoken to them multiple times over a the last four months. We are still getting calls from the collection agency. This seems to be a long term systemic issue that is not being addressed by management."
"Billing department is outsourced from another country and refuses to correctly do their job. I had a bill for $152 that was COMPLETELY paid by my insurance and Midsouth Imaging continued to send me bills even when I provided them with an insurance claim number. The women was incredibly rude and refused to do anything. Had to have my insurance call to clear it up and turns out they billed a different department of my insurance ao they could get paid twice, which is literally fraud."
"I had imaging done around Jan of this year and no issues with the staff in general. However, in June, I received a call from a collections agency at 7am. I explained I had never received an invoice, which we would be happy to pay, but I was not going to do so sight unseen. I asked for them to send another copy via mail and email. Never received. I received another 2-3 calls on this matter from collections and told them the same thing, confirmed my email and mailing addresses again, and still never received anything. I went to our insurance website tonight to confirm the service, service date, coverage, and my OOP expense. Based on the amount they quoted me, it was 3 times that of what my insurance site says I would have owed! I submitted an email to the billing department so hopefully I will hear back next week. I will definitely be reporting them to the BBB if this is not resolved within the next week or so. Do not use this facility if you can help it."
