"Great location downtown! Walking distance to many attractions & good dining. Seamless transaction, easy in & out. We rented the studio suite for me & hubs & it was perfect. Love the kitchenette, although not fully stocked for preparing a meal, it does have the bare essentials.... fridge, microwave, tea kettle, Keurig, sink & glassware. Coffee pods & teabags complimentary. Only had one little hiccup during our stay.... our shampoo dispenser would not work... not a huge deal. Parked on the street in front.... no parking meters or fees. Had no issues regarding safety. Disappointing that the pool & hot tub were cold.... we were really looking forward to a quick dip in the hot tub on a chilly night. Overall, a good experience. Would recommend to others & will plan to stay here again. We usually stay at The Hyatt Centric while in downtown Memphis & The Rambler has changed our minds on paying overpriced rates @ The Hyatt. The Rambler felt just as plush, for far more affordable rates!"

"This was my first time in Memphis and this place was one of the worst places I’ve stayed, my parents worked overtime for us to be able to go on this trip,I’m so disgusted and disappointed on how low I have to rate this, the first major thing was the fact that there was no good way to clean the dishes, there was no sponge and very little dish soap, the second major component was the fact that there was the major smell of marijuana in the hallways and the dropping of vape tips at the bottom entrance to the pool, the third major component was the hot tub, the hot tub didn’t even work my little brother was so disappointed, the forth major component was there was no stove in our room, we had to spend so much more money than we needed. I hope you find this review helpful and I hope you can fix all these issues before the next major holiday."

"We stayed in the Deluxe Suite (mom and adult son) for one night. It is huge and you can see the National Civil Rights Museum from the living room window (it's across the street). The unit is bright, impeccably clean and lovely. Toiletries are located in the shower. Very comfortable bed! We walked to NCRM (obviously), Central BBQ downtown, Beale St, the Peabody Hotel (ducks march at 11 and 5 -- get to the lobby bar 1+hour ahead for best viewing options), Tom Lee Park (highly recommend!) and felt completely safe the entire time. Street parking was easily available."

"Overall it's a nice hotel. Getting into the room was easy. It is loud and you can hear everything. The reason for the 2 stars is because we had reservations for 2 nights. Our flight got delayed until the next day. And they were unwilling to work with us at all to give us a refund or at least partial refund. I understand their policy, it was also a huge inconvenience for us also to have our flight delayed that long. We ended up sleeping in the airport. So I wish they could have worked with us some."

"If you are visiting Memphis and didn’t book the Rambler, you probably made a mistake. Easy check-in. No front desk. 20-foot high ceilings. Gorgeous minimalist decor. Living room, kitchen bedroom bath. It is a fabulous, clean, amazingly lit suite 6 blocks from Beale Street for the price of a depressing room at the Hampton Inn."
