Super 8 Ripley

"Save your money and go to the EconoLodge about a mile down the road. These rooms were really bad with holes in the walls n doors that are impossible to open. Even management couldn't open ours after muptiple tries plus your view is of the loading docks of co-op"

"Rooms are decent, outside of rooms is a different story and has a funky smell. I know the new owners haven't owned it long and will get it looking good. It's not super 8 any more it's Hunters Lodge. Staff is super nice."

"Very friendly staff but rooms smelled of mold. She showed us 4 different rooms but the mold smell was bad. Staff suggested we open the window and turn on the air conditioner...it was 35° outside. We did not stay. Also hot tub has been out of service for more than a year they told me. Went to EconoLodge."

"This hotel is in serious need of renovations. Our room had a severely cracked window. We had to keep the window open because of the extreme musty smell. When we opened the windows, the spiders (on both sides of the window) became active. There were lots of spider webs around the window. There was a large gap around one edge of the screen, and soon we had a slug crawling on our wall. The air conditioning was not very effective. The inside swimming pool was so murky that we couldn't let our 13-yr-old even put her feet in it. Thankfully, we were only staying one night. I would definitely not stay here again."

"Best place in Ripley to stay. Clean rooms. Rooms smell good and bed is very comfortable. A/c works very good. If you're expecting the Ritz Carlton or the Hilton service then that's where you need to stay and pay for it. For the price and service of the Hunter Lodge, you can't beat it. The only place I'll stay in Ripley."
