"Customer service is always extremely helpful & kind. Prices are amazing considering the cost of materials they use and time to make custom designs. Will definitely be ordering from them again and recommending to friends & family! Thank you Maker Table Metal!"
"FYI ..... We purchased two porch stair rails from Maker Table Metal for $994.48.The rails were nice and we were satisfied with the purchase. The top rail measured 92 inches long by 6 inches high on their scroll ends. It weighed 30 lbs. We mounted the rails and one remains perfect, the other one however has had the powder coat bubble and blister, and the coating is starting to flake off. I contacted Maker Table with the issue. They told me to send them the rail and they would redo the powder coating. In their "return policy" it does say the customer is responsible for the cost of shipping. I checked and the cheapest I could ship that size rail was through FedEx for $117. Here is my issue. I paid $994 for those two rails, and expected a "good quality" product to be delivered. Clearly, the one rail with it's blistered powder coating is defective. I had a hard time with being charged $117 to get the defect repaired. I had nothing to do with this issue and expected the rails and powder coating to be of good quality. When I explained to Maker Table that the faulty powder coating was no fault of mine, and I would like a prepaid shipping label so I could return the damaged rail and have it repaired without an additional cost to me. I believe that is what a responsible company would do. They stand by their product, and if there is a flaw, they pay to have the item returned, they repair or replace the item, and they send it back to the customer. They are holding firm that I must pay the return shipping. So this question now must be asked: What if the new powder coating blisters after 6 months, I then be required to pay another $117 to return the rail for repair ?It appears I will have to pay an additional $100 out of my own pocket, and have a local company sandblast and re-powder coat the rail. Just a heads up as to what you might run into, should you deal with Maker Table Metal and have a issue. Something to think about. UPDATE: I have posted this same "Review" on their Facebook page, but they remove it. I am not being "foul mouthed of even rude", I'm just posting my experience with Maker Table Metal. I wonder what it is they don't want potential customers to know ? It is what it is ......"
"Great products and service! I have purchased a few items from these guys and it has been extremely on point every time! Best thing to do is be responsible and plan a month ahead when ordering anything custom. If something needs to be remedied, have some decency to let the business fix the issue instead of whine like a brat. Keep up the awesome work guys."
