"The Clarksville Best Western is a fantastic place to stay! This Best Western is very clean! The staff are very courteous and helpful! I only wish they were pet friendly."
"Would leave a zero star if I could. Horrible experience at Best Western in Clarksvillle. Checked in to the hotel, in talking with the employee while checking in, she confirms I booked a 2 queen room - she gave me keys and we thought all was good. We got to the room and it had just one bed. Went back down and initially the employee said I booked the wrong room, said my reservation showed a double bed room - I pulled up my reservation that showed I booked a 2 queen bed room. She said they had no other rooms available period, not just needing to wait on cleaning but period. Even though I booked these rooms back at the end of November, there was a WWE event in town and the hotel preferred to give them rooms over the people who had already booked rooms, since we booked through a third party service and not directly with the hotel. So they had absolutely no room for us. What makes it worse is this happened to a friend we were meeting that was staying at the same hotel. She checked in the night before and was told the same thing, even though she had a valid reservation (through a third party site), this WWE event superseded her reservation and therefore they had no room for her. So I called the night before to confirm our reservation was still there, confirmed 2 queen room and the employee said yep I see it here. So during this check in debacle, I told the employee, I even called last night to confirm because our friend had this issue and she said really? I said yep. So they got the manager on the phone and she said when the hotel books these other bigger blocks (which why would they since people clearly have reservations and they don’t have the room) - if your party is less than 4 people and booked through third party, the system boots you from the room. Both myself and friend each had 3 people in our party. We had no notification by the hotel or third party service that our room was basically unable to be filled because the employee at the hotel said the system must have changed our reservation to a single double bed room. So on the phone with the manager - she said she would get us a room at a sister hotel down the street. She kept trying to sell us a double bed room but we said we paid for queens we wanted queens. She told me several times she was going to get me a major discount and “hook us up” so I was frustrated but happy I was supposed to get such a good discount. The initial room we booked was a 2 queen for a total of $144. She ended up getting us in a 2 queen room at the other hotel for $98 plus taxes which comes to $115. A difference of $29!! I said oh you said you were gonna give us a major discount - that’s only a $20 something difference. She said “$98!!!” And I said “plus tax you said is $115 so it’s only a $20 difference. That’s not a major discount to me.” But we took the room and went over to the other hotel and it was fine After looking later, I looked on the website of the hotel she switched us to, the posted site for our room in the hotels website was $98 so she DID NOT get us a “major discount” - she just booked us at a hotel where the room prices were lowered and pawned it off that she was doing us good by getting us a discount. Overall horrible service by all employees involved at hotel - you shouldn’t book our rooms when you already have existing reservations. Clearly they could up charge the rooms by giving them to WWE and that was their priority over letting the people that has already reserved keep their reservations."
"I had high hopes for my stay with family at this hotel after reading the great reviews here. Unfortunately, it was not an experience at par with what I had read. We were greeted quickly and the employee answered my questions about the area. However, our queen bedroom was not clean. Bedsheets we’re dirty. Not only I could see the edge of the bedcover all filthy, but I could smell the lack of a simple wash of those covers. I even found a sock on the bed in between the sheets as I was pulling them up to get some sleep. I was so tired that I didn’t ask for a different room (it was also New Year’ Day and I had already had troubles securing a room at other places). Dirty room (not properly vacuumed) caused me to get a sore throat the following morning, but that wasn’t all. I went to shower in the morning and the bathtub was clogged. It immediately flooded so I had to get a really quick one to prevent the soapy water to be all the way up to my ankles. My mom had to wait for the water to flush out before opening the water again for her own quick shower. About breakfast— I had read that their breakfast was “above average,” and it makes me wonder what are people used to when offered breakfast at a hotel. It was a pretty basic breakfast, similar to what I have had at other places, except lower quality. What I mean by lower quality is that juice options are literally water with sugar and color. The creamers and utensils to fix my coffee were at a table far (like 15 feet) from where the coffee machine was at. Additionally, the microwave was not easily accessible. It wasn’t visible at all and it was located inside an adjacent room behind a door labeled as “Employees Only”. An employee was super kind in bringing me to the microwave, but it was definitely not something like the picture on Google. People with gluten sensitivity or Celiac’s Disease should be assured that there’s no gluten-free bread available, but we’re sadly used to that. I provided the property with all of this feedback and received an email apologizing and also wanting to make me think that I had stayed at a different hotel, but I am 100% sure that I stayed at the Best Western Plus Atrium in Clarksville, TN, and the photos confirmed it. I sadly won’t stay here again."
"We got there 7 pm local time. We had to get the sofa couch set up and the room situated when the front desk calls and says we're thudding and being loud (room. 312) and that the people below us wanted to turn in. At 730. We have a toddler who just was in the car for 7 hours and he wasn't being quiet, but he wasn't stomping. He's 3. We also have someone in the room with a Prosthetic Leg who doesn't walk the quietest, but this is the 5th BW we've been in on the 3rd floor and have never had an issue before. We try to keep the toddler from running around. About 30 minutes later the front desk person knocks on the door saying we were too loud still. And that she can hear us in the lobby. Girl we're not doing ANYTHING. We got scared that they were going to kick us out for WALKING across the floor. We wake up and the kids in the room next to us were literally screaming(with laughter as they should) playing with I think their Dad. But yet WE WERE THE PROBLEM. We were tip toeing around at 8 pm. Pretty sure quiet time is 10 pm not 7. Why would you put a family of 5 above the lobby if we can't walk around. This was ridiculous and improperly handled by staff (she told us there were multiple complaints and people were leaving?) If we're above the lobby how are people leaving? Are the floors that badly insulated that you can hear WALKING?! Definitely not Kid Friendly OR Friendly with people who have Physical Disabilities."
