"I got Doc Martins here. Friendly store."
"went in with my daughter to take a look at getting her new Dr. Martens as she is using my 90s red ones. Well, we were greeted as if it was an offense to even walk in. Idk if it is they were already in a bad mood or what but we left. I would rather order online than feel like I'm an inconvenience."
"Really amazing service. The manager, Sarah, spent so much time with my husband and I to get the perfect shoe and the perfect fit, bringing out multiple shoe types and sizes and giving her real opinions to help us make the right choice."
"Aubrey was the absolute best! I wasn't quite sure what I wanted and tried on a few different things. He was super patient and answered all my questions without ever making me feel rushed. It was important to him that I got the right size and he encouraged me to walk around the store to assess the fit. I asked him about the MIE and he brought out a pair of oxblood boots. They were gorgeous but I already had a pair of oxblood church boots. When I asked about another color, he mentioned there was another color but they didn't have in this location. He called the Studio City store and had them hold me a pair. I drove over and ended up needing a larger size because they fit just a bit different than the ones I tried on in Topanga. When looking at Yelp reviews, Aubrey is praised over and over. There is good reason for that. The outstanding customer service he delivered was top notch and I am so appreciative of his kind help."
"My wife used the brand since she was a teenager and loved it. Because of her positive comments, I wanted to give it a shot as well. Purchased 2 pairs of Martens boots last week for my wife and I.Too excited, of course, wore the pair which I bought for myself the next day, but unfortunately it was small and hurt my feet so bad. This evening I went back to the same store where I originally bought the boots from wanting to exchange it to a bigger size. The manager on duty, Jonathan, reacted in a harsh way staring at the brand new shoes stating that the shoes were pretty worn and not eligible for return or exchange! I explained to him that the reason I purchased one size smaller shoes was because their staff advised me to do so, but the shoes bothered my feet after 1 hour of wearing them, and couldn’t continue wearing the shoes. Jonathan went back and forth to discuss it with the Store Manager, Sara, who did not even take effort to come to front desk and speak with me, and came back indicating that he will make an exception to change the WORN shoes, but that would be the final sale and I won’t be able to return or exchange anymore!!! The return policy on the receipt clearly states that if you are dissatisfied with the shoes for any reason, bring it back within 30 days for refund or exchange! I didn’t do anything wrong but taking the seller’s advised for purchasing one size smaller because Martens boots open up and get wider as you wear them…( which was not my case) That was my first and probably last experience buying Dr. Martens shoes! I really liked the quality and they’re pretty comfortable. But the Canoga Park store management handled my simple concern and request so poorly and unprofessionally that left a bitter memory for me. I felt humiliated over $250! It was like I did something wrong or rubbed them! That’s how the duty manager treated me; to show that he’s doing such a great favor for me! I wish I had taken a photo to add here…"
