Although a little kitschy it's a fun place with a fun theme so maybe not for goths but definitely for anyone looking to have a fun, easygoing and tasty lunch!!"

"Our first Beach Hut Deli sandwich was from their location in Tigard, Oregon. The sandwiches are large, creative and full of flavor. This was our first visit to the Oceanside location. We called the order in and it was ready for pick-up within 15 minutes. Since they did not list prices online I did not know what to expect at checkout. I must say I was a bit shocked to learn the 9 inch Surfin' Bird was almost $15 and the 12 inch North Shore rang the register at almost $18. In the words of Cheap Pete "Good Lord, that's a lot of money". Don't get me wrong, the sandwiches are good but at this price we should be feeling flush, need a smoke and ready for a nap. If price is no object, the Beach Hut Deli is your place for world class sandwiches. If you have a little Cheap Pete in you, this might cause you a little pain at the register. Either way, you will enjoy the sandwich. BTW - the cream cheese is fantastic with turkey, bacon, avocado and fixings. I give them a 5 for flavor and a 3 for price which equals a solid 4."
