"We live in Upland and we love to support our local businesses: FOODS: - Burrata and Arugula Appetizer: delicious. Recommend - Green Salad: Ranch is not that great and it’s a huge salad for $8. Recommend - Main course: Penne Alla vodka added Chicken: DELICIOUS . Recommend SERVICE: - We arrived 8 pm Friday night, with reservations. Quickly sat down. Staffs were friendly"
"I made a reservation for 3 people. They're not needed, but probably a good idea on Friday night. At first, I was a bit disappointed by the service. They seemed to be going through some transition and things felt disorganized. One table was reserved and set for another party, but no table was reserved or set for my party. There was a table available, so it wasn't a huge deal, but it could have been unpleasant if the restaurant had been full. We also had to ask for menus, which felt off. However, as the night went on, the servers were very attentive and friendly. The food was flavorful and didn't taste overly salty. My party had the Seafood Risotto (special), Ciopinno, and Salmon Linguine. The price was fairly reasonable compared to other eateries. My only real disappointment with the food was the lack of vegetables. We did get a large salad to share, so that somewhat made up for it, but it would have been nice to have some veggies with the entrees. Overall, it was a pretty good experience. I'll try it again and hope for an even better one."
"We went on a Thursday. The food is excellent. I had the manager special shrimp and scallop with angel hair. I have to say it’s one of the best pastas I’ve had in a long time!"
"We decided to check out this place the other night. We've been meaning to do so since earlier in the year. First, impression, the location wasn't the most ideal. A bit dark and tucked away towards the very back of the strip mall we used to frequent for the now-closed salad place. We waited a few minutes to be greeted and shown to a table. We then waited quite a while to flag down a waiter to take our order but he failed to mention the specials of the night. One staff member was memorable, their busboy! He was friendly and attentive and the first one to really address us and our needs. Prices are a bit high for pasta that was below par, in my opinion. My penne was overcooked, way more than my preferred al dente. The alla vodka sauce on mine lacked the depth of flavor other restaurant's versions had. My husband's angel hair was, you guessed it, over-cooked. His dish overall was under whelming. The positives: the calamari was good, and so was the Marinara dipping sauce it was served with. The ciabatta dinner rolls were served warm and toasty and had the perfect chewiness I expected. Based on our experience that night, we are not inclined to return. There are other mom-and-pop pasta places in the area that are worth our patronage."
