"Ok.. this is a VERY nice place to go on a second or even third date. To me it was quiet, private, quaint, and romantic, the prices were decent and the food was tasty. Serving sizes were also in good proportion. I highly recommend the side of meatballs. I ordered the vegetarian lasagna, it was ok, but it had no vegetables. I honestly think it should be called cheese lasagna. We also ordered a side of dates, blue cheese and bacon. That was delicious! I will definitely go again."

"It was our first time at this restaurant and we weren’t impressed with the whole experience. The first encounter at check in was good and the person who took our order had a warm and welcoming smile. The hostess placed us in a table by the outside patio door and each time the door opened, a very cold breeze came in and was hitting us which made the entire time we were there uncomfortable. We asked to be seated somewhere else but the restaurant is fully booked so they couldn’t move us. The food was edible but not great. Scampi was overcooked. Pasta that came with salmon was tasteless except for the green and red sauces. The cheesecake had a raspberry sauce poured over on top which over powered the cheesecake. I don’t recommend this place at all or will come back to it. I’m from Palm Springs and we have much better service and delicious food for the price we paid at this restaurant. The food were not photo worthy to me so I did t take any pictures."

"Service was top-notch. They have Pomona Queen on tap and make a great expresso martini. Very friendly and attentative staff. Happy hour was $4 off cocktails and specifically priced appetizers. The bacon wrapped dates and calamari were delicious."

"My wife and I went out to celebrate our anniversary and chose Allegro mostly because of distance and we feel like it’s a hidden little gem. We got there without reservations and asked if we could sit at the bar until we could get seated and that was the best decision. It really just felt like a date we’d go on before Covid, before having a baby. It was dark, romantic - just the way we like it. We had so much fun sitting at the bar and talking with Cortney. She was an absolute delight - kind, friendly, funny, knowledgeable. Thank you for the chat, Cortney! We ordered a Garden Collins, Margarita (which was so unique with Disaronno as an ingredient) and the Espresso Martini. All awesome with the Garden Collins being our favorite. The food (which you’ll see in the photos) was terrific. We were really close to not getting the Chicken Marsala but the server changed our mind and we’re glad she did because it was our favorite part of the meal. The crème brûlée was really good as well - would recommend. They also have another location in La Verne, too, which we now plan on checking out. The worst part of the night was having to see the Celtics win the game against the Heat! =D"
