"The front counter ladies were helpful and nice and my son and I didn't have to wait long to be seen. It's a big, busy office but they're efficient."

Have to jump through hoops to even make an appointment, not to mention the Dr never wanting to prescribe medicine when your child’s sick which leads them to get a double ear infection! I have already changed to a different facility/ Dr. this place is going down hill fast."

"It's absurd that when one has a sick child, they have to call and leave a message and wait hours for a callback to get an appointment. And, God forbid, you be at work and not be able to be glued to your phone and miss the call back, because then, you get to start the whole process over. My favorite part might be being disconnected in the middle of leaving YET ANOTHER message, multiple times, and having the woman at the front desk basically tell me "Tough luck. You will just have to stay glued to your phone." Needless to say, we will be finding another pediatrician. One in which you can actually make an appointment with!"

"My son sees Dr.Blake and he is super friendly, patient, caring, takes the time to let you ask questions and explains everything thoroughly. He doesn't make you feel rushed and really seems to care. He's truly wonderful and genuine... what a gem of a doctor!"

"The receptionists there are just incompetent!!! The time to get seen is ridiculous!! It took us 1 and a half hour just to go to a room! Then, they were supposed to have a referral for my son to get new glasses. Well apparently no one knows anything! Then, I’m on the phone with a Vanessa, give her all the information and puts me on hold. Another employee answered the phone and wanted all that information AGAIN! I told her to speak to Vanessa. Then she comes to the phone again, I asked her her name and tried to ignored me, I asked again. She said her name is Ines and puts me on hold. When Vanessa gets back to the phone and says there is NO ONE with that name, then tried to cover up for the lying incompetent person that came on the phone! I get placed on hold AGAIN! This is unacceptable and so unprofessional for a doctors office! Finally, Vanessa comes on the phone again and poor girl she’s trying to help me out, but by this I’m already very upset, and then wanting all the information AGAIN like come on!! I have worked in an office before with over 30 people and within the first week I know everyone working there, this is a small office! I guess since Dr. Zavala no longer comes around often because she has her office in Mcallen now, they do whatever they want! Just wrong in my opinion!"
