"All 3 of my children have attended Little Treasures since it opened. It is the BEST daycare my children have attended thus far. My husband saw an ad in the paper once and we decided to visit. After our visit, we fell in love. The teachers were so welcoming and the facility was so cute and clean! We loved the owner, Ms. Tonya, and the staff. The kids almost never want to leave. My husband and I agree that knowing our kids are at Little Treasures gives us peace of mind while we are working throughout the day."
"Please avoid this daycare at all cost. I literally just worked there for a couple days, and couldn’t take it anymore, and quit. Not even because of the kids, but because of certain staff. Constantly screaming at the kids, kids getting hurt, and not being checked on, or properly cared for, diapers not changed in the 1-2 hour gap that says on the rules, constantly telling the kids to “fight each other , or bite one another back” instead of properly showing the right way to handle a situation. The place is in disgust, If you look closely around, you will see how unsafe, unsanitary it is for the little ones. Kids are being smacked on the hands, left crying, and I seen all this just WITHIN 3 days, then couldn’t take it anymore. Workers on phones, not paying attention. How is this place still open?! Workers not CPR certified, which is mandatory. Parents please make it a point to have access to your kids via the cameras if you keep them in. Be careful of who you pay to keep your littles one protected while you work."
"I decided to pull my child 1.5 years after starting. 1.5 years too much--when she started we immediately had problems, from finding my child in a corner crying by herself to teachers being on the phone constantly. I addressed this with the director, which she agreed she witnessed and heard remarks about my child herself. Afterwards, some teachers were moved to different locations and others quit/let go. The star in the rating would go to Mrs Cassie, she was in charge for a few months. My child and i loved her:communication and interaction was great! Total 360. She, for personal reasons quit however. Then came more new staff(never introduced), Daily sheets stopped or given once every 2 weeks, child came home with almost raw rash, clothes that werent hers. On several occasions I would see children either in the playground alone, open the door and run out the front (which myself and other adults stopped and directed back to building). Children climbed playhouses and staff ignored because they were on phones, or would say "stop that" and would bend if child did not listen only to say "i told you". I would bring pull ups and they would end up in another childs basket. I purposely didnt bring wipes for SEVERAL weeks to prove the communication problem, and then decided it was enough, brought wipes on a Monday and by Friday was told she needed more. My child at this point was used to this environment unfortunately and would stay "happily" because this was her routine. I had several attempts to address these issues with the director and though she listened, I never obtained a real solution. In the last attempt, i was made to feel as though i was accusing the facility of not doing their work because i started bringing my childs lunch after seeing unsanitary conditions. It is disappointing that to my face the employees blamed the director and said it was managements fault but went and said another to her (for ex that i was very mad, when i said nothing mean, because let's be honest, I'm not going to be mean/rude to the people watching my child all day). If you put your child here, be cautious and go with your gut."
"I wouldn't recommend this daycare to my worst enemy. The staff is incompetent and inconsiderate. I have had MANY issues with this daycare. My son was being taken care of by a teacher they hired through the state who apparently had "mental issues"..but refused to fire her. She sent my son home with the wrong diapers on almost every day after i repeatedly informed her they give him a bad rash. he has come home with poopie diapers twice. Quickly that rash became a staff infection!!! The teacher sent my sons extra outfits home with the wrong parent, which were never returned to me after multiple times i asked for them back. My son has had ear infections, staff infections as well as pink eye 4 times in the 3 months he attended here. They let babies share sippy cups, and took them outside when it was 30-40 degrees outside! I asked many times to speak with the director, but all of the staff refused to get in contact with her. They have accused parents of being behind on payment, just to get more money from them. If you choose to send your child here...KEEP RECORD OF EVERY RECEIPT!!! This daycare has had many changes in staff as well. Either employees have quit or were let go. They have let my child cry til he vomited and then informed me they had a policy that stats "the child cannot return for 24 hours after vomiting". For holidays they are closed many days, so the parents who work for a living will have to miss a lot of work."
"I would not recommend this day care to anyone. The level of incompetence in which they handle their business seriously makes me question how they handle day to day activities with the children. I have found them to be dishonest and full of excuses. As a potential parent, I paid for a deposit and a full week's worth of care. $170.00. Which they quickly cashed. When I decided to go to a different daycare instead I was told I would get $140 back for the week of care but the deposit was lost, which was understandable. Two weeks later I have been told my refund check was in the mail twice and I have spent my time and gas going back to the center just to be told no one could give me my check at that time. Nothing but excuses and dishonesty. If I don't get that money back it seems they add thievery to their long list of quality attributes. Would you trust your child being taken care of there?"
