"the preschool teacher really needs to figure out if this is a good fit for her to be working with kids this age. had multiple incidents where my child was singled out, and a lot more closer towards the end of me pulling him out of this preschool class, it’s ridiculous to pay this much just for piss poor complainants everyday about my kid did this or my kid did that, I get it kids will rambunctious and wild but if you can’t control your self and handle kids you shouldn’t work in this field, age or with kids in general. I’ve heard her run her mouth to other parents at pickup time, just plain disrespectful in front of the children. Had an incident when dropping him off where children in his class are saying “he is bad and does not need to be in this class.” & I’m sorry but that’s not okay for a teacher (grown a$$ woman) to run her mouth about a student (4years old) that’s in her class to or around the other classmates.. there is no action plan for any consequences, it’s just a write up… three of them, and you’re expelled. I hope that you all take into consideration when and if choosing this preschool class."
"I cannot say enough great thing about this facility. Yes, we were on a waitlist for a long time. Yes, they told me that upfront. We were at a previous church based half day program before coming here and my child was basically just babysat for a few hours a day and rarely taken outside. My child has some food allergies and it was a battle at our previous place to get him the snacks we provided and communicating with the staff was difficult. Spotlight communicates with me EVERY SINGLE DAY, they label all his food, and they now know his allergies and I practically don’t even have to say anything. The staff take the class outside at EVERY opportunity which means multiple times a day sometimes. My child also is in speech therapy and I love that the facility works with his speech provider and (if I wanted it) my child could receive his therapy at school during his day. My child, delayed in speech upon arriving, has met and exceeded all but one of his goals at therapy. He comes home saying new words and singing new songs every day and I know it’s because of his excellent teachers!"
"I visited this school last year to enroll both of my daughters who were aged 3.5 and 1.5 at the time. The administrator insisted at the time that they won't be able to make it through the waiting list. I told her, it's OK can you please just put them on the list? She finally agreed to that. I gave her my daughters' names and birth dates and left my phone number. They never called. I check back in 2 months. They said my older daughter is now number 26 in line and my younger one is 40. I called them again today (3 months later than last I checked with them) and the same person talked to me on the phone to tell me that my older daughter is now 37 in line and my younger one is 70! So basically instead of moving forward they moved back in line! I asked the administrator to explain to me how this could have happened, she was rumbling for a few minutes and didn't give any reason that would make any sense. I asked how would she feel if she was treated the same way? She didn't respond and she kept saying I'm sorry but your daughters are not going to make it to our Pre-K program. She seems to have already decided that! This school's administrator is very unprofessional and clearly there is no process when it comes to taking in new kids. I'll be looking for another daycare that has more respect towards people and a reasonable process in place!"
"I’ve had kids attending Spotlight since they opened and we couldn’t sing their praises enough. The quality teachers, education, and learning environment here is unlike any other daycares our kids have attended. Hands down the best preschool experience we’ve had!"
"The employees and staff of Spotlight make this facility amazing. My child is safe but most of all properly caredfor to my standards. As a mother I was very hesitant to put my child in daycare. Spotlight is the only place I will let my child go. Period!!! Very clean, organized, teachers and staff that actually love and care for children. That makes a HUGE difference when someone is taking care of your child. Great communication! You get what you pay for and it's worth it."
