"I have a 2007 Acura RDX base model. I read the reviews and made sure to present my coupon. I was told because it was "STAR" required that the coupon can't be honored. I started to question A LOT, but because of time restraint, I went ahead and waited. While I was waiting, another customer brought their vehicle in. I know for a fact it was a vehicle before 1999, because I'm a car enthusiast and used to sell that particular make model. I over heard the conversation, they spoke in Spanish and I'm certain they weren't aware I able to listen and understand. He offered the customer the cheaper price after confirming they age of the vehicle was BEFORE 1999. After my vehicle passed smog, I tried again to present the coupon knowing my vehicle fit the requirements. But, he insist that because my vehicle is "luxury" and "STAR" required that the coupon isn't applicable. BE VERY CAUTIOUS ABOUT THIS FACILITY. I know I won't be coming back!!! Why did I get the smog after knowing and hearing what I did one may ask... Well, the customer Spanish speaking customer came in after my vehicle was already I the back bay getting the smog done."
"Bait and switch. Coupon doesn't work for undisclosed reason. Smog is $50 Certificate is $8 Retest is $38 Of course no pricing in the place to hide this so boom. Here's for all to see. Also my car failed smog because of a recent battery reset but I drove from Texas to California. Doesn't make any sense. Probably wants the retest $$."
"The website shows a coupon for $29.75, most cars over the year 2000, Luxury cars extra. I have a Lexus and was charged $58. I don't consider my Lexus to be a luxury vehicle. It's not a Mercedes! My fault, I should have asked what the cost would be prior to driving there. So make sure you ask about your vehicle prior to expecting it to be $29.75."
