Reviews of Sudden Service
"My entire family loves the breakfast pizzas! We stop every morning for gas and coffee and the staff is always welcoming and friendly."
"New 3 star review... I have since been contacted by management and was informed this employee was outside of guidelines and given counseling on this matter. She is no longer with the company and I look forward to giving this gas station another try. Original 1 star review... If you want your 4 year old being told "happy pride month" then this is the station for you. What you do in the bedroom needs to stay in the bedroom and I'm not sure what that had to do with me getting gas. I don't go around talking about my private matters to strangers and I certainly don't want my children being bombarded with your lack of couth."
"When I went in the sudden service this morning, the lady (I use that term loosely) behind the counter was being extremely obnoxious and unprofessional. As I walked in she was busy explaining to another girl about surgeries one can get to... enlarge certain body parts. If it had been somewhat quiet or subdued I could have seen my way past it, but then an older man came in and she loudly wished him and the young boy with him a "happy pride month." The man grunted something in reply, not seeming too enthused, so she went on a long, LOUD spiel about why she greets everyone that walks in the door with that to "make 'normal' people mad." Those are her words, not mine. To that employee: Whatever you do is your business, whether it is surgical enlargements or your "preferences," but the general public shouldn't be subjected to tirades about your private matters. To the management/owners: This behavior is unacceptable, and until it is resolved, I will no longer patronize that location, and I will advise anyone else to avoid that location. Thank you for your attention."
"No thanks to the employee wishing me “Happy Pride Month.” Pride goes before destruction and I’m not interested in celebrating it. The foul language behind the counter was the last straw. We left and went to Speedway. Be professional, people. PS Memorial Day got one day of celebration. “Happy Memorial Month,” maybe. I’m done."
"There was a cashier there and my daughter was making a purchase in front of me with one card, while I intended to make a purchase after her with another. The cashier started tapping and sliding my black stripe all over the till and tapping it harder and harder and I said excuse me, could you please not do to that to my card. I don't want to have the stripe ruined. And she said It's not your card! and I said yes, it is, this is my daughter and I just asked you to please not ruin the stripe that is all. She said you got rude with me! I said no, ma'am I am hearing impaired and you are being rude after me kindly asking you not to ruin my card. She turned to her coworker and said can you check her out please? I said to the coworker is everyone who works here equipped with a bad attitude? She said no ma'am and the girl started saying I was rude again. I said do you have a manager? And then the coworker said she was the manager and kept apologizing profusely about how the woman behaved to me. THIS IS A TERRIBLE place to get courtesy or respect and you'd think with someone mistreating someone like they did me the manager would have at least put the worker in check about her attitude. Instead she gave her an excuse by telling me oh she's pregnant and hormonal, like that made it okay."
