"I have been a volunteer here for over 20 years. It is truly a great asset to the community."
"RMHC was such a blessing to our family during my son’s transplant! The house was very clean and has many items to help siblings fight boredom. The staff was so friendly and welcoming - literally the greatest staff!!"
"We stayed here for 3 days for my son's bone marrow transplant evaluation. The people are extremely nice and the downstairs is also very nice. But we ended up deciding that we couldn't stay at Ronald McDonald during my son's actual transplant that would take a few months because they don't have Internet access, which is odd to me. Our data on our phones will run out if we have to use it consistently so we are going to be staying at a different place. The TV in the room wasn't hooked up to anything so there's no cable in the bedroom either. The only other complaint we had was that our room was sooo hot! And we had no control over the thermostat because we found out only certain rooms have temp control, and if you don't get the room with thermostat control, there's nothing you can do about it. It was 75 degrees (that's hot to us) in our room with 3 of us trying to sleep and we were all miserable. I hate to even complain about a place like Ronald McDonald house, but I feel like internet access and temperature control are something most people need away from home and shouldn't be an issue. Other than those two things, it's a great place for people that need it and we would've loved to have stayed the full two months otherwise."
"I really can’t rave enough about this place. My partner and I have a baby in the NICU and got the amazing opportunity to stay here. Although a lot of the amenities are closed for a while due to Covid, there are SO many awesome areas in this house from lounge areas to a perfect little library room. This house makes you feel so much more normalcy during the tough times than anywhere else and allows you to have “normal” parts of your day while being away from your home. They really care about your comfort here. My partner and I wanted to cry when coming in because of the generosity of the staff and the many people who have donated endlessly to people like us who have a little one in the hospital. It puts a whole new perspective on life being here and I know it makes me want to do so much more to give back to those who helped me in one of my hardest times."
"Amazing, Beautiful, Breath Talking, Emotional, Fabulous...I couldn't put an and, and a final word on the Ronald McDonald House in Nashville. They housed my Son & Daughter-in-Law for 5 months after my 24 week Granddaughter was born. I visited there and there aren't any words to describe how amazing the Staff is and how welcomed they make you feel. They were very compassionate and helpful with everything. Family is home and doing beautifully."
