"I applied for a job at BreadBox in Hendersonville TN, went through 2 interviews and a drug test, was told I had the job. The manager told me he would call me at 1pm on Friday to tell me when to start. He never called. I called him at 3:30pm on Friday and he said, " I am sorry I got busy, let me put you on hold for 30 seconds and I'll come back with a definite answer. He came back on the phone and said he would call me at 4pm. It is now Monday and he still hasn't called. I shouldn't have to be the one putting in the effort and pleading for a job. If management can't multitask he doesn't need to be a manager Also, my husband called the store today to see if they were open and he told them he had to walk there due to hazardous weather. He walks down there to find out they closed the store on him for an hour to do paperwork. There are 2 employees in the store. He has to wait an hour in the laundry mat next door for an hour for them to reopen. Management at BreadBox is horrible. I will be reporting this facility to the Department of Labor and Workforce. After seeing other reviews I am disgusted with how this store treats customers in this community. The people of Hendersonville deserve so much better than this."
"Standing here waiting at 4:04 pm outside with a crowd of people because there is a sign on the door that she is in the bathroom. People have been standing here for 10 minutes. 12/1/23"
"Felicity is RACIST! My husband and I come to this store every single day and she has I.D both of us before when we have came in the store. Today on Mothers Day I forgot my I.D. At home but my husband and I walked in the store to grab a clubtail she asked for both of our I.D and told us that she could not let us get it due to me not bringing mine too. But my husband had his license. BUT right after me another couple walked in that were caucasian and she let them buy beer and ONLY asked for the husband’s I.D. That is definitely racial profiling. She should have told them the same thing that she told us! Because only one of them also had their I.D yet she still sold BEER to them! Which the couple seen it and said she was wrong for telling us something totally different, when we come in this store a thousand times a day and I’m definitely a lot OLDER than her! Not only that FELICITY has done the same thing before with FOOD STAMPS! I didn’t even mention that I was using food stamps but she ASSUMED I was I guess because I’m AFRICAN AMERICAN! I watch how she treat African Americans VS caucasians!! & I definitely treat EVERYONE THE SAME no matter the race! I am not into the racism! IT IS NOT OKAY‼️‼️and I will be reporting this store and her as well. I will not tolerate it!!"
"This place is constantly hiring incompetent young ppl that don't want to work or that close the store while working the night shift for several hours at a time when it's a 24 hour store. These ppl working night shift here lately are the most incompetent, 2 younger guys in general. One of the guys, young white guy with glasses is sitting outside the store and said it's been closed since 11pm because the other guy, colored guy with glasses/Nick didn't show up for his shift at 11pm so he closed the store(which wasn't locked) and he has been sitting outside guarding the store since 11pm instead of continuing working and making money as some of the more competent workers have done in the past, jist makes no sense to me. Sometimes ppl do have emergencies and need that 24hr store to be open especially if they live close to that store. Last time it was nick working and he just wasn't letting anyone in the store for 3 hours in his shift he kept telling ppl it was closed. As long as I've lived here which is 20 yrs now this store has been 24hr store and unless there was an emergency that store has never closed. Find ppl that want to work and that want to take their jobs seriously because these younger workers DONT want to do their job! *UPDATE AS OF 1/21/22* The store is now under new management and is rarely stocked with things that have always been stocked. I've never seen this store look so empty. Not real sure why anyone working there can't get stocking orders right. They haven't been stocked with several different drinks now for over a week and every time I turn around they are out of certain cigarettes. Good management should always stock very well and even order extra for backup especially if something is selling better than other items. One of these days I do hope this store gets its head on straight because I've never been this unimpressed over a store in a very long time."
"Generally a great time. Cashiers will crack some jokes while ringing you up with a smile, but this new Danny devito guy need to be fired. Refused service because he had "closing procedures" when the store is open 24/7. Not once have I seen him with a smile, and won't even respond to "have a good day". It wouldn't irritate me if it wasn't for the fact that it's his job, and he's there quite a lot."
