Reviews
"I really don't want to write this review, as I always, always try to support local businesses, and I have yet to actually dine there. I was really looking forward to this spot opening, as I live nearby. But I tried twice to do breakfast there - once calling in for a to go order (they never answered the phone) and once going in person. I waited for a half hour without anyone acknowledging me, let alone asking for my order. This place is supposedly open to the general public but it seems to be more of a clubhouse for the residents of DPCC to watch TV...there were two tables occupied so the place was absolutely NOT, in any way shape or form, busy - and still no one could help me. Owners and staff: I'd love to support your business but I don't know what I could have done to be more helpful and supportive this morning beyond putting on a hairnet and apron and making the food myself. I would have LOVED to give you my cash money this morning, unfortunately, I had to give it to Denny's because they wanted the business and were willing to ask me what I wanted and then *gasp* bring it to me! What a wacky concept! Maybe this is different for lunch or dinner, but not really encouraged to come back here, sorry. Best of luck, though."
"One of the worst experiences I have experienced at a restaurant. I can’t do dairy, so figured I would order pasta marinara, nothing fancy. That turned out to have cheese in the sauce. The staff was (at first) very nice and accommodating. They actually brought me out 2 other dishes, (once I was told the marinara had cheese in it) which I really appreciated. None were great. I probably took 2 bites and they took away the plates. I was so disappointed. I typically can go to any Italian restaurant in the valley and get a pasta dish with no cheese. Then they charged me for one of the dishes, which surprised me, since they took away a basic full plate each time. Didn’t even ask if I (or my husband) wanted to take it home. My husband would have taken it to go, if he knew they were going to charge us. The worst part was when we were leaving and one of the owners came over and asked if everything was ok. I was quite upset and at first said nothing. He literally looked at my husband, laughed and said “good luck to you”. I couldn’t believe an owner of a restaurant would mock a customer like that. After that I tried to explain what happened. He said “you come here when you have a dairy allergy?” Again, totally mocking me. When I explained that they charged me, he asked, “did you eat it?” I said “maybe 2 bites or so, but that’s it” He said to my husband “sorry for you” and walked away, went over to a table where a bartender and another staff member was and said “you’re not going to believe this story” and pointed at me. I have never experienced an owner of a restaurant treating a customer so badly. I tried to be so nice to the staff, and felt really bad about sending the food back. In fact I told them, I really wanted this place to make it. (Since they have only been open a little over 2 months) I will never go back and still can’t believe an owner treated a customer that way. I was completely appalled at the way I was mocked and treated. He obviously doesn’t know how to treat customers with respect."
"Love, love , love the breakfast here! The hash browns are real potatoes (not frozen!) and cooked perfectly. I've ordered eggs here three times and they were cooked exactly right each time. The breakfast burrito is super tasty and the house made salsa rocks! The service is excellent and the entire staff is friendly - Gabby (our food server) and Kari (the manager) are the best! And, we love the fact we can take our mini poodle and eat on the patio while enjoying the relaxing sight of the ducks and geese in the nearby pond. Highly recommended!"
"Best Italian- American restaurant around. You want the best quality and full service around. Go here, this is family style Italian restaurant that is so comforting reminding me of my Italian cooking skills there is no comparison to this food. Even gluten free options! If your a health nut like myself, this is the place where they have healthy options available. Personally have been eating here for along time nothing like a new year and good food with family and friends. Food is super fresh from Garlic cheese bread, to the Spaghetti and traditional Italian meatballs, better than you’ll know ! Gluten free pastas and making a delicious mixture with a mixed green salad can’t go wrong."
"A classic Italian family restaurant.. the new owners are from Nicolinos Italian restaurant that was on Date Palm Drive since 1985. Many great memories from that restaurant… hope to have many more at their new location."
