Reviews of Green McAdoo Cultural Center
"NOT judging this on any kind of programming - I just stopped by to see the Clinton 12 statue set, which is beautifully set over the city. The only problem is that you can't really get a front-on view of their faces - the walkway ramps down in front of them, so you can really only view them from the side. But worth seeing!"
"It saddens me that as a college educated prior army officer who has spent nearly 30 years in the corporate world I had never heard of this until I moved to Clinton a few years ago. This museum is teaching some of the most valuable lessons that a person can possibly learn. It is not only worth a visit it is worth long considering so that we all do our part to ensure that no human being has ever treated in such a way."
"Very informative. I had never heard of The Clinton 12 prior to Green McAdoo and I’m very impressed with how informative this Cultural Center is. When I was finished with the self guided tour and the documentary at the end I wanted to know more. Don’t miss out on visiting this part of history. There’s a great documentary on YouTube as well. I’m surprised this isn’t a movie."
"Stopped here with a friend! Very interesting museum! So sad that anyone has ever been treated so bad. This is a part of local history and everyone around should visit and learn. There is no fee to visit but we left a donation. Thank you for making me aware that there has been injustice right where I live,"
"Very interesting place that is educational and quiet feel to it. Really a must see if visiting and looking for history of the area. Also enjoyed learning about the community garden that has just started there. Great way to help the community."
