Road Runner Sports

"I was in the store on Sunday March 3rd at 4:30pm. I had never been to a Road Runner Sports before and was actually looking forward to getting fitted! I was instantly greeted by one of the employees named Q and he let me know the process and asked me my name and put it in the iPad he was holding. He then asked us to hang out until someone was available to fit me. And wait we did......for 30+ mins. During those 30 min, 5 more groups of people came in and got the same info and greeting. Knowing they were busy, I figured that it would be a while, but then I noticed that the people that came in 15 min AFTER i came in, were getting helped. I watched as more and more employees were finishing up and then calling out names of people that came in after I did. We were sitting in plain site of all of the employees, so we weren't hiding in the store and we were sitting together in a group of 3 in the fitting areas. Finally after 30 with no interaction with ANY of the employees and Q (who had checked us in) looked at us and started with ANOTHER person who had come in AFTER I did. We got up and left the store with no employee interaction. I fully understand how busy it was and it looks like there's a system in place for this to be avoided, but my name wasn't even called after being there for so long and we were sitting in the open.......and not one employee checked in with us, while openly checking in with others that came in after I did! I'm genuinely disappointed in this experience. I struggle to find shoes that fit and don't cause blisters and i was hoping that this store could be the solution. Sadly it doesn't seem that will be the case."

"Seriously, if you go to Road Runner Sports in Irvine off of Jamboree, you HAVE TO go see Quentin. This man found me the perfect shoes and I am so thankful! I am new to running and I am starting to take it more seriously, and Quentin ran me through the entire process of getting my shoe insert molded to the arch of my foot, all the way to finding me legitimately the most perfect shoe I have ever worn. His attention to detail was incredible, and the service the he gives is EXCEPTIONAL. I have been to this Road Runner location multiple times on different occasions and I always only have Quentin help me. I want to commend him for his excellent service, and I wish him to be recognized by any managers and or supervisors. I believe that Quentin should either be recognized with a raise or a promotion with how great of a representative he is of Road Runner Sports. I can't thank you enough Quentin!"

"Such a great Team of Store Associates. I called beforehand and was assisted by the store manager with such great energy and customer service. 30min later I came into the store and although everyone was busy, they made sure I was acknowledged and still stayed aware of me. I tried on 2 different types of running shoes and the associate helped nail down which one was the best fit for me. This is my second time coming to this store and I LOVE IT! "Michelle was my salesperson and she was fantastic. Very friendly and asked a lot of good questions to help me. Her style is consultative and not pushy. She is sincere and I could tell she was trying help. They did not have the shoes in stock but she worked with Alisha and team to find a pair for me and had them shipped in by Christmas. She then followed up with me to let me know when they arrived. Great customer service, friendly and helpful. I will be back. Carey Smith"
