It saddened me when their Seaside location closed because it was so close to my place of work, but whenever I make it to downtown Monterey, you can bet I am going to stop in for their Platillo de Pastor. Rice, beans, sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, tomato, corn tortillas, and a heaping pile of Al Pastor. They’ve got free chips and salsa, aguas frescas, and an entire assortment of Mexican specialties. This family owned restaurant doesn’t waste time with frills, instead focusing on quality food."
