Motel 6 Lompoc, CA

"The room was not the greatest. The light did not work above the bathroom vanity. Shower tub had peeling paint. The white bed sheet had a dirt mark on it. The mattress was a bit lumpy. For 4 hours of sleeping it was just ok, below average I would say. Water pressure in shower and sink were good. Wifi was good."

"This place is probably the worst motel 6 I’ve been to. We stay at them often. Our room smells so bad like smoke, but not just cigarette smoke, but like the building had been on fire or something. The bathroom had the toilet seat up with brown water. Theres no screen on the windows so we can’t air the room out. The beds are bad, really not good mattresses, the shower looks gross with the rusty ring around the drain. I’m really disappointed."

"Stayed here as a pitstop whilst travelling. It was ok, the room was clean and comfortable. It was a cheap and basic room so met expectations. We'd previously stayed in a Studio6, didn't realise there was difference between a motel and studio 6 but I quickly learned! The staff were very helpful during check in and helping us out to work laundry!"

"this hotel has the best front desk staff of any hotel in Lompoc, and pretty close to the nicest staff I’ve ever encountered. My dad stays here a couple times a year and they are always, always extremely friendly and accommodating (he’s legally blind). The property is very clean and well-lit, which we greatly appreciate! Yes, of course the rooms are a little basic and not upgraded, but for the price, I feel like we’re really lucky to have all the positive things that are found here. Kindness goes a long way and the staff at this Motel 6 could give great training to other hotel staff!!"

"PROS: Great, accommodating staff! It was too cold to swim but the pool area looked great and clean with fresh towels rolled up on the tables. Newer toilets and sinks in our room. There were NO roaches, yay! Linens were clean. Area is well lit and felt safe. It appears the owners/management are making strides to improve but has a ways to go in regards to the rooms.. CONS: Bed mattress needs replacement, replace the tubs and shower as well as the disintegrating drywall around the baseboards. A clean room goes a LONG way - cleaning was poor to non existent in our room. We went through 2 - 3 hand towels wiping down all the surfaces due to dust and hair all over the place. Room needed a major sweeping and moping. Deep clean the rooms!"
