"If a person has to spend over 20 dollars for a ticket to see a movie, they have every right to bring in whatever outside food or drink they have. The fact that movie theater companies won't even allow you to bring in a WATER BOTTLE because they want you to purchase their ridiculously upcharged concessions is beyond ridiculous. (Can't use the 'no alcohol' excuse either, as alcohol is literally sold at the bar inside.) It doesn't help when the ticket employee is rude. If Regal INSISTS on forcing employees to mandate the predatory "no snacks, no drinks" rule, the *least* they could do is train their employees on how to approach the matter properly. It's really not hard to simply state, "I'm sorry, but according to company policy, we can not allow you to bring drinks/snacks into the theater." Instead of glaring and rudely yelling,"YOU CAN'T BRING THAT IN HERE.""
"While the general experience of the theater was alright, I had a poor experience at the concession stand. I am not one to write bad reviews and it doesn't usually matter to me, but this left a particularly bad taste in my mouth. I bought a medium drink and handed the cashier, a young person with bright pink hair, $9 in cash. Without saying a word to me, the cashier left my drink on the counter closer to the cashier side (not an accessible place for me to grab), put the receipt face down on the counter, and walked away without handing me my change. They turned around and started talking to another employee, messing with something and not handing me my change. I picked up my receipt and saw I was owed ¢.37, and so I stood there expecting my change. I probably stood there for a solid minute before I asked "Am I going to get my change?" and the other employee had to get the attention of the pink-haired cashier. Without looking at me, they said "Oh yeah, give me a minute" and walked to the back. I stood there without my drink, change, or an explanation. Moments went by where employees passed by me, and I still didn't have my change or any clue as to what was going on. Eventually, a manager appeared and opened the cash register, (still offered no explanation for my wait) and then stood there a moment before waving over the cashier, who instead of walking over to help me, started restocking the empty drink cups by the registers. After a moment they realized I was waiting and explained that they accidentally bumped the register closed and had to get a manager to open it. I was finally handed my change and left with my drink. However, when I walked away, I realized after a moment that I didn't have a straw. I asked my husband to go get one and he stood in line for a few minutes before I went over there, as our movie was set to start soon. The cashier was there and I got their attention and asked for a straw, to which they said "Oh yeah I was gonna give you one but you ran off." I got my straw and left. To be clear, the fact of the register bumping closed is not the issue. The issue is that I was left without a clue as to what's going on, without my drink or change. And honestly, if the cashier had just explained "hey I'm sorry, I bumped the register closed and it's gonna take 5 minutes to get a manager over here, are you okay with that?" I probably would have opted to leave my change and move on since it was an insignificant amount. The problem is that I was ignored, no one communicated the issue to me, and then despite all my waiting I was told I "ran off" before I could be handed an essential part of my order. It was incredibly frustrating and a bit embarrassing, as I didn't want to be rude, but I also wanted what I was owed. I understand the job isn't always enjoyable (I've worked fast food and retail service for YEARS), but I feel as though I am due a higher level of basic respect than that. That all being said, the rest of the employees were kind to me and the facilities were very clean. I hope this was just a bad day, as I would like to come back in the future. Thank you!"
"To see to be alive and to experience an adventure while traveling across the country to hike grow and learn about the experiences and films of America like combine imax with 70 millimeter film and you got a power house of imagination Check it out but definitely imax film"
"Very large Regal in Opry Mills Mall. Kiosk to buy tickets or service desk. Lots of high priced snacks and drinks. Tried the screenx theater showing and it was cool but didn't add a lot to the movie. Great IMAX theater."
"Our first-time experiencing a 4DX movie & it exceeded our expectations by far! The theater was very clean & the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie was ahhhmazing!!!! We WILL definitely return!!!! They only offered one movie in 4DX & one showtime for the day, which was at 1:40. The only thing I would change is to offer more showtimes & more 4DX movie options to choose from."
