"If I could've give more than 5 stars, I would. There was absolutely nothing wrong about this spot. I've been meaning to come here for one thing, and one thing only, chicken Parm sandwich. I finally got the chance to go the other day for the first time ever and I was in love. You walk in and are greeted politely by the workers. Very friendly staff, I even forgot to remove something from my sandwich, and they were happy to help with my accomdation. The chicken Parm was by far the best I've had in Sacramento. I know I will be telling everyone about this spot. One thing I do regret is for taking so long to come out to this spot since they've been here for decades on top of decades. I promise you, anything you get from here, you will not be disappointed. I believe I saw the owner there, but he seemed really busy, and I did not want to disturb him. But the next time I see him, definitely getting a picture with the legend."

"The Italian Delicatessen in Sampino's Towne Foods is worth every bit of 5 stars, and I'll tell you why. I was in Sactown for something other than this and that, and had my old pal Nicholas Popadopalas with me, I told him I wanted to go to the Corte Bros. deli because nobody can beat their Italian Genoa Sandwich. Well, Ol Nicholas blasts out Corte Bros. only just learned how to make Italian food last week, and it was Sampino that taught them! He then tell me that he's Italian, but only looks Greek...so don't be fooled by the name! I had the Genoa salami sandwich and it was Spectacular! 5 stars ☆☆☆☆☆"

"Came for lunch during the week. Was busy but quick service. Great meatball sandwich, warm and bread was good. Ample selection of meat, cheese, bread to purchase individually as well. Plenty of seating inside and outside to eat with plenty of parking in the lot."
