"We had such a great experience visiting this store and working with the store manager, Emily. She was so patient and helpful as we tried on clothes and even kept our 19 month old entertained while we shopped. When we had found our clothes she held the items for us for a few days until they went on sale. I had previously purchased Vince items on-line but the experience with Emily at the store was so pleasant (and saved us quite a bit of money) that I will always choose to go into the SF store whenever I'm in need of a wardrobe refresh. Highly recommend visiting this store!"

"Vince carries really high quality classic pieces and clothes. It is a pleasure to shop here. The staff has always been very accommodating and friendly to us. I once had my makeup explode on me in my bag, and the staff helped me clean my bag, giving me whipes, spray, and a plastic tub to help me clean it out. They went above and beyond. Some of my favorite pieces are from Vince. Thank you!"

"I echo the sentiments below regarding the horrible customer service at this SF store. For a luxury brand, I would expect better customer service and helpful staff. However this location has the most condescending store manager. Vince refuses to do even exchanges for different size after 30 days. The manager kept telling me to contact corporate customer service but their phone number sends you to voicemail. As I sat in the store, I called them no shortage of 12 times. As a lifelong Vince evangelist, sadly after today I will not be shopping this brand again."

"I already had a terrible customer experience at this store in the past, before the pandemic. At that time, the store manager had an attitude and was condescending. I wanted to give it another go, as I happened to be downtown and was looking for cashmere pants for the winter. Well, things have not improved, I was 'welcomed' into the store with such disdain and felt so uncomfortable that I immediately left the store. It is such a shame that Vince hires such people."

"My experience at this store on 10/27/23 was so disagreeable that I am leaving a public review so others don't waste their time with this store. This review specifically concerns the store manager, Emily, and her assistant, who are two of the most unpleasant salespeople I have ever interacted with. I received a Vince item on 10/26 and visited the store the next day to return it due to sizing issues. The assistant and then Emily, proceeded to give me the runaround on how the dress was purchased on sale and thus, it was a final sale item and not returnable. Nowhere on the website or in my emails was there any note of the item being final sale and non-returnable. Emily interrupted me to emphasize that she's worked at Vince for 10 years and has never taken back a sale item. During the entire exchange, both Emily and her assistant were downright rude and aggressive. When Emily realized I wouldn't meekly concede and I would take it up with corporate, she later called me and said she spoke with her colleague Rebecca and was willing to take back the item for store credit only. I reached out to Vince corporate asking for clarification, and they then informed me that I was indeed able to return the item for a full refund. Everything that Emily told me in store was incorrect. At best, she is confused about Vince's policies (despite being there for 10 years), and at worst, she is actively misleading customers. My negative experience with this store does not seem to be an isolated one, based on similar previous complaints on here and Yelp. I will not be visiting Vince SF again."
