Reviews of Absolute Flooring, Inc.
"Their prices are sky high. I called Empire Today and got my job done for half the price of Absolute Flooring and they did a excellent job !"
"Honestly, one star is generous for the nightmare experience we had with this company. We are so glad to be done with them and the only reason I'm revisiting this experience is to warn others since we based choosing this company from the reviews we read. If you want a project to take three times the amount of time it should have, not be communicated with about what is going on and want to have to be the project manager of the flooring project in your house, Absolute Flooring is definitely the company to use. When things go started, the people in the store were nice, but it seemed as if they didn't know much about what we were asking for. But, once we picked out our floor we got an install date. We did choose to have our stairs done as well, so that would take longer with what we wanted and were told it all should be done in a month. When the flooring itself was done, after we found MANY places where the shoe molding was super loose and not nailed down correctly, which is not surprising as the installer left for a while and had his children doing the job. Eventually the time came to do the stairs (I was at work this day and my husband was home). That evening I came home to our 2 bottom steps by our front door stripped down to the subfloor and the rest of the staircase done terribly. The stair noses were not flush with the steps and did not even match the color of the steps. My husband then told me that the reason the subfloor steps were there was that two of the stair noses (that didn't match) were broken when they were delivered. Which would have been fine, but instead of informing my husband who was home, the installers called Bob, one of the salesmen and had him stop by. My husband had small talk with Bob while he was there but nobody mentioned the broken stair noses until the installers were leaving and the rest of the stairs were "done". This was right before Thanksgiving, and if we knew there was a chance on having subfloor steps we would have told them to hold off on the whole stair project. When we went over to discuss the stair noses, Paige agreed that the ones that were put in looked terrible and promised to help us find a solution. However, over the next few days my husband and I had to do research ourselves to find the pieces we would need and the warehouse that could get them the soonest. My husband even talked to another flooring installer in Nashville who said that we should have been offered these pieces initially and that what they did was not a good way to handle the project. So in order to have stairs for our Thanksgiving, they installed the mismatched stair noses (still not sure mismatched steps were any better than none, but they tried I guess). Finally, we are past the date when the correct noses should have been in, but we have not heard from anyone. So we reach out and get an install date. The date comes and apparently the installers run into a problem, as Bob shows up at my house and tells me they can't make the top step flush, as it needs a transition. My husband and I had already looked at other projects and were fine with that, until the installer was going to leave one riser that did not match the others on that step to avoid having to put that threshold back down. I told him that was not going to work and he just wouldn't give me an answer on it. So, I have to get in my car and drive to the store where I get an answer. I was told that it will be fixed as they have an extra threshold in store. That would be great, until my husband gets home and it's 4 pm and the guy who was supposed to drop off the threshold never did. So, we had to get in the car and go pick it up. That night, we are so relieved the project is done, until my husband goes to the front door and notices that the shoe molding in front of the bottom step is not even nailed in, just pushed up against the wall. On top of this we had tape in our room thresholds for two moths waiting and had the installer leave his saw in our garage for two moths so we couldn't even use our garage. Use someone else if at all possible."
"Could not be more satisfied with our experience with Absolute Flooring. Bob and Paige were wonderful to work with and their installers were great! Highly recommend this business."
"Absolute Flooring recently installed our flooring for us! Great company to work with! We are so pleased with customer care and most importantly our beautiful floors!!! We went the the Tudor Oak Trail Race and are so pleased with our choice! The team at Absolute Flooring took great care in walking us through the showroom and helping us find our favorite, best and affordable option!!! No home remodel is ever easy, especially a job as large as ours, and they helped remove some of the stress by going above and beyond!!!"
"We absolutely love our floors from Absolute flooring! Prices were great, the workers were great, just all around a great experience!!! We will be using them again in the near future. Our family would recommend this company to anyone with flooring needs!!!!"
