"I would have loved to recommend HTD but unfortunately I now tell my friends to stay away. From gaps in flooring, outlets that stopped working within months of installation, stonework that crumbled soon after installation, bumpy drywall, incorrectly installed plumbing, inappropriate behavior from a store employee … well, you get the idea. Yes, the owner is aware. No, nothing was resolved. Having now worked with other provides, HTD may be cheaper, but what I’m now getting in results is worth the extra money!! Additionally what I have learned through this experience with HTD is to be sure to get in writing and discuss with any service provider how they will handle any issues that do arise once they leave your property. Errors do not tend to get noticed right away and you’ll need to feel confident a provider will assist if something does happen. As well, be sure there is a project manager who is on your job consistently and communicates timelines and expectations well. ****** I lowered my star rating due to their response below: Yes, HTD ... you DID complete my stone work, both around the front door you installed and a window you replaced. Please do not lie. There is nothing wrong with the stone the owner Juan purchased (it's not of "lesser" quality) ... per the mason who fixed your work, it was just installed poorly. Also, there was no breech an any contract. That is absurd. The bottom line is I have shown possible customers many reasons why working with your company may be a questionable decision. This is likely why your rating is low to begin with. How about you just do better instead of blaming a customer. If anyone wants to contact me personally, feel free. I have a list of providers who are great!!"

"Ordered almost $1400 in tile from these guys for our kitchen remodel. When the tile came in, completely different shade for the tiles despite they are all supposed to be walnut travertine from same company. HTD refuses to exchange, refund or help in any way. "Normal tile variation" they say. You can be the judge, there's a picture attached. If it looks same to you, by all means do business with this company. If not, avoid."

"My review is long overdue--I chose Hendersonville Tile & Design for my kitchen redo last year and was extremely pleased with them from start to finish. Juan was a pleasure to work with and let me know that they really wanted my business. His communication was great and he met every commitment in terms of timing and doing what he said he would do. They had a great selection of materials and the quality of the work was great--especially matching the veining in the quartz. I contacted several other companies and none could compare in terms of customer service. I'm very pleased that I chose them and love the finished product!"

"Hired them to renovate my entire kitchen down to the studs. Had certain elements that I was impressed with, but the quality and communication got worse as the days went on. Projects were havi g to get done multiple times because of communication issues. A big reason that I hired them was for their tile expertise and felt that my backsplash and tile work were not what I was expecting or paid for. They are all hard working folks, but I was just very let down by the quality and communication."
