"Wonderful park along a stream with bridges, walking trails, a huge amphitheater, playground, a storybook trail, the Secret City Commemorative Walk, and the beautiful Japanese peace bell. A great place to walk around. Adjacent to the Rec Center and the public library."

BTW, if you are unfamiliar with this young lady let me just say, she's the best mandolin player today. She's the real deal, she proved it with an impromptu intimate acoustic encore after her staged concert. She asked folk to come closer to the stage, so they could hear her and her talented band, the guitarist grabbed a banjo, and off they were, doing it like it's always been done around these parts. "This is a nice little park across from Oak Ridge High School, with walking trails and a creek flowing through. Not much shade, but there are park benches throughout. The best feature is the Friendship Bell, dedicated to the friendship between Japan and the U.S. after World War 2. It's a beautiful bell, honoring both countries."

"Such a beautiful peaceful park! Came here to take my daughters kinder graduation pics and there were so many different areas to take pictures at! And they also have a cute little playground and picnic tables :)"

"Wow, it's cool here, staff is great. Swimming pool, gym, play pool, Bingo, exercise room. Also has friendly Bell outside to ring. Plus a great Center for Older people, the grounds are well kept, a must place to visit in Oakridge Tennessee."
