"It’s a family friendly place. I definitely recommend this place if you have kids and plan on going to the gym. Our kids are a little bit older now, but their childcare was always great. It was free back then and think it still is. A lot of gyms charge a fee for that service. I’ve noticed that they’ve been updating a lot of their machines, which is great. They have a few more treadmills. In the past a lot would be broken. There are new treadmills and they’re always in working order. For a while they had an issue with this, and it would be hard to find a free machine to use. I’m glad they’ve resolved this issue. The pools are great. I wish they would have kept the steam room. That’s about the only thing I wish they still had. Oh, almost for forgot! I’m glad they got rid of the basketball courts and replaced it t with picket-ball courts. They have three courts. It hard to find one open in the middle of the day because a lot of the older retired people play around that time, but if you go a little bit earlier or later in the day shouldn’t be a problem and it’s fun. They have plenty of paddles to use as well. We bought our own set but it’s nice to know they offer the equipment to play. I’m glad they made good use of the basketball courts. I think they got rid of it for the same reason Cox park did not put any. Too many problems. Adults getting hot tempered and starting physical fights over a game. People walking with their kids and exposing their children to all sorts of profane language. Good call Y!"

"There is literally no way to give this a zero star. I was trying to set up a new membership. And delay that works around 1 PM ignored me. And I told her this is my first time coming here, and she literally told me to go sit down. And then she would give my membership, but she proceeded to talk to a random person that was already an employee here instead of trying to put the customer first. She has European dark black hair glasses and she’s real skinny. So beware if you are a person that has brown skin. They would treat you like do you are not there. And this is in Collierville location."

"The machines are new in the wellness center. Front desk staff is super friendly. Class schedule offers variety and lots of opportunities to catch a class! New locker room look great!"

"I absolutely love the Y! It is such a family-oriented facility filled with warm welcomes and kind souls. I love seeing people from all ages enjoying exercising and socializing with one another. The childcare room is curated for learning and playing, and the workers are so sweet to my kids. It is a true gift being able to work remotely for an hour at the gym, and then get my workout in for an hour during the 2 hours of childcare! I highly recommend YMCA for any and all ages!"

"I enjoyed the pool aspect, but the hot-tub constraints got on my nerves (the rule is if not under 16 you cannot enter, I am just under 16.) I do not have to be any certain age to go into any other hot-tubs around any hotels, or any other YMCA like places, and I have seen 3-year-olds go into the hot-tub with zero repercussions. I believe I should be able to go into the tub as there is no other law around it, thank you for your time and reading this!"
