The Ned R. McWherter West Tennessee Cultural Arts Center, also known as "The Ned", is a premier performance space located in the historic downtown area of Jackson, Tennessee. The 2,200-square-foot theater boasts 420 seats and features state-of-the-art technology including an advanced pulley system, special lighting, a superior sound system, and impeccable acoustics, making it the perfect venue for a variety of stage productions. "My husband and I and our neighbors went to the Ned to see, A Christmas Story. It was really good! All of the characters did a great job. It was a great family Christmas show about life in the early 1900's. A boys wanting of something that could injure him and alas it did just that. I loved watching this play and hearing the people in the audience laughing and clapping. Fun"
