"This is a great local facility for anything sport related in BG! With the cheap membership rates, we’ve enjoyed Pickleball, racquetball, ping-pong, disc golf, and more! My only recommendation would be to call ahead to see what their schedule looks like as it seems to fluctuate each month. They do a great job of giving you a 30 minute notice if the next time slot is rented out. I would highly recommend checking this place out!"

"Gym is run like Fort Knox. Demanding you pay the $3.28 fee or you get no access to things. My kids had tennis practice here today for like the 5th time, it was my first time going with them. Kid at the counter said no key tag no entry, and if the court isn’t reserved we can’t go in. I was slack jawed. It’s tennis practice. Talked with one mom and she had already paid the fee when some manager came out and explained the fees were for anyone 12 and over. Well the kids were all under that…we get behind the third set of double doors and this place is flat e m p t y. No one but the teacher we were there to see - like 6 other courts, all empty. Needs a staff overhaul bad. Gave it a second star because the upper staff did take it upon himself to come out from behind the counter and explain things to us. Still, a lot of doing things right vs doing the right thing here. Teacher did a great job 10/10 for her. Unaffiliated with parks staff."

"Don't let the other ratings detract from the world-class facilities that are at Mike Buchanan Park. 8 basketball courts, New indoor tennis center with tons of courts, racquetball courts, pickleball, outdoor tennis courts, a public library, soccer fields, several baseball diamonds, shelters with playground, a tornado shelter, and disc golf along with miles of walking trails.. this park is great. Does get loud and confusing when all 8 bball courts are hosting games, but that is just part of it. Cheap membership rates."

"Everything there is pretty nice, the reason I'm giving it one star is because of the poor customer service me and my friends get from the workers at the far-end gymnasium. The employees there always have an attitude and lack of respect when we ask them to do something for us like bring down the nets and such. They also enjoy joking with us to the point where it's not funny and are just rude in general."

"Great disc golf course, the walk path is great and plenty of places to rest and even get a drink for you and your fur baby! Love walking there. Phed up Phil likes it too. Sunsets are awesome too. There are tornado shelters also which around here is good to know!"
