Unfortunately we didn't get to tour the fort as it was being renovated during our visit, but we got to tour the house and our guide was super sweet and friendly. She answered any and all questions we had, and was very knowledgeable about the property. The gift shop was cute, had lots of neat options and was affordable. There is a public park right beside the property so you could spend hours if you had the time. I'm sure we will return one day so we can see the fort!"
"We had a Monday morning free and decided to go do the tour. Our guide was great. We had her all to ourselves and was very patient with all my kids' questions. I would definitely recommend this for any small group. Wish we could come when they are doing reenactments."
