Reviews of Gold's Gym
"The tanning bed never works, but I'm paying for it in my membership. I like working out here, but I'm considering moving my membership elsewhere. The staff is always very friendly. The childcare is a plus, but it is limited to a certain number of kids, so if it's a busy time, you could be waiting or will have to come back another time. You get 90 mins per day with them so if your child is not acting perfect then they will call you to come get them and you can either come back another time that day and your time resumes from however long you had left of the 90 mins. This is something else I pay for, and I feel like they call me 15 mins into my workout each time because my 2 year old is whining. So only use this if your child is perfect and doesn't whine because they don't know how to calm a child down or just don't want to deal with it."
"I dont ask for much. I am just trying to get in shape and get stronger. This gym has everything I need to get results. Everyone seems really nice and focused on their workouts. I can see how the gym can be an intimidating place for someone new to the space but I feel like I belong. Who knows maybe I will make a friend or two who shares my same goals."
"Here is my honest review of Gold’s Gym Clarksville in hopes that a higher up will see it and changes are put in motion: Full disclaimer I have been coming here for a few years now. So keep in mind I am very frequent here. This gym has a community that is undeniably unmatched at other gyms I have been to. If you need help you can get guidance that not many trainers could give you. If you are in need of or looking to get into the world of workout supplements, both the Gold’s Gym employees and Steere’s nutrition has you covered. The workers and management here are phenomenal people to talk to and work with. This is a great gym and I still to this day stand by it and recommend it to anyone looking to get serious and dedicated with the gym. Now onto the hard truth, Clarksville Gold’s Gym has a lot of potential that is just not being tapped into, it’s way overdue for an upgrade. To start lightly the clash of paint schemes in it are not appealing to the eye, making it look more like a rushed doctor’s office paint job and less like a world renowned gym chain. To put that into perspective for you, it has some walls that are a tan and others that are grey not to mention the logos randomly placed around the gym either in silver or black. Walls have holes, dents, and very obvious patch jobs. (As shown in pictures provided). Side note: throughout the gym you may not find any gold but you will find a whole lot of silver, feels like a way of telling us we’re always going to be second place. Additionally, the gym will have its times where it gets rid of more equipment than it can replace. In recent events, the gym had gotten rid of some of their most popular pieces of equipment to include punching bag, additional cables, hack squat, to name a few. These losses alone made Gold’s lose new and old customers. Due to the volume of people who workout you can often expect that you’ll be waiting a moment to get on one unless you work in. Due to the loss of equipment you are left with a lot of empty space that isn’t being utilize. (Also shown in the images provided) I’m going to finish off with this: none of the issues that I’ve mentioned is the Gold’s employee’s fault, as I previously stated they are some of the best people you’ll ever talk to and I understand their hands are tied in situations like what was discussed. This gym needs to be visited by a higher up, someone who has the power to do something about improving this location and making it worthy of being called “Gold’s Gym”. This is not only my thought but the thought of a great majority of gym goers and employees as well. We call this our second home, it’d be nice to have a reason to be proud of it."
"I have been going to Golds gym for over twelve years. I trust the company. The classes are good. There is a lot of variety, they even have yoga. A suggestion for improvement is to change the tanning room to a boxing room."
"This gym is absolutely amazing, even though it’s not my Home gym location it’s definitely at the top of the list. The atmosphere is great, the staff makes sure that the weights are always re-racked and in the right place, there’s little to no trash on the floor, and it’s overall the best Gold Gyms I’ve been to. The team member Juliana is an amazing employee, always greets me with a smile and is very courteous and helpful. Every fitness question I’ve asked her she’s been able to explain it to me in an understandable way. Will definitely be coming here more often!"
