"Last time I was here to get my tires rotated they broke the stem on one of the tires, and then said it wasn't their fault and I had to pay to get it fixed. This time they told me on the phone when I made an appointment that I could wait around while I got my oil changed. Now I just spent 20 minutes driving here and found out that "wait around" means 3 hours."

"Brought my car in for a snow tire swap. I was told they wouldn't take an appt for such a service, so I drove it over to wait. Told at 10:30 that it shouldn't be more than a couple hours, and I told them I have a dr.'s appt at 3, which they said shouldn't be an issue. It's now past 1, they have already repaired 2 cars that showed up after me, for the same service (a tire swap) and told me they hope to be done by 4!? Are you serious!? They told me there's no guarantee they'll be done by my dr's appt, and now I feel like I'm in some sort of hostage crisis. If I'd known they'd take almost 6 hours to change my tire's I'd never have driven there in the first place. Horrible staff who can't even give any type of timeframe, who just seem to be annoyed by being bothered to do they're friggin' job. I've lived here over ten years, and haven't gone to them in almost 6, I was told they've gotten better, but I'm amazed how worse they are!!! Never again, and I'll be sure to turn anyone away from them I can..."

"I am a third generation Tahoe-goer, it is literally a haven for my family. We fill up our cars and boats for three weeks at this chevron every year. Today I took my truck in because one of my tires came out of balance. I get a call a half hour later telling me that a lug had sheared. I am a friendly guy, retired firefighter, things happen. The part I have an issue with is when i arrived they showed me the broken lug nut. The lug nut was not even a third of the way on and obviously cross threaded. The manager tells me (to my face) his guy did it while taking off the tire, and it sheared because the previous mechanic overtightened it. Anyone who has ever changed a tire before knows what happened. A lug nut doesn't just cross thread three quarters of the way out. Needless to say this mental giant tried to put the lug nut back on using the impact driver, without starting the lug nut by hand first. I also wasn't very happy when I noticed they lowered the front end of my truck on a wheel that had lug nuts only half way on. Ultimately $198 later they are telling me my tires accurately balanced. Hard to believe anything they say now."
