"I have to say having any other EV than Tesla is not a good idea with such small amount if chargers, have to wait for an hour to get a spot, the chargers are slow even the ones at 350kW due to most cars unable to take up all that charge without what Tesla calls preconditions the battery for the fast charge. Also their prices are ourragours, one may wonder if a gas car is better to have even with high gas prices, as .66 is insane. Most Tesla Superchargers charge from .16 to .45 in my area. Also every time of the day you can find cheaper option to charge and not uniformly expensive, so one can always charge at .24. Evgo also is horrible at customer service trying to push their stupid verification policies that their philippine agents use as little robots repeating the script, while we are actually paying for an outrageously expensive service, and once the car plugged in it is self explanatory and visible on their computer system what car is exactly plugged in, and whose account, especially once name and email was given. No, I am not willing to waste more time with customer service when charging. If something doesn't work I expect them to fix it and not drill me, or connect me with multiple agents who can only repeat scripts and do not solve the issues. It is an expensive service with a lot of issues, not liek the Tesla Superchargers where I never had to talk to customer service, just find one of the thousands of stations, plug in and in 35 minutes good to go. Charging stations show up on the map and say if there is by any chance a wait, how long that might be, - usually max 5 minutes. Take a look at Tesla Superchargers Evgo, and lower your price, and make more stations available, what we can use on our own, without customer service needed."
"I only come here if Chargepoint and Electrify America are full."
"Huge parking structure lots of charging stations right next to the Newport Beach public library on Avocado and Pacific Coast highway."
"Tried to use EV go fast charging and the system continued to attempt to verify the charge. After trying for 15 minutes, I called the telephone number on the machine and the customer service agent reset the charging unit on location and this cleared the issue."
"There are 2 EV Go chargers here, one is on L1 on the right, the other hidden on L2 just above it. Great location, not in the sun and usually working, but for a while they were broken and not fixed for weeks, esp the prox card reader-I have had to call EV Go to initiate a charge several times with the free BMW charge now program. ALSO--this location has a few nasty EV drivers that will stop your charge, and put the connector in their vehicle. Unbelievable. I had this happen twice, so now I stay nearby when I'd rather be walking or jogging. Other EV owners need to be more respectful of others. We all need to re-charge, and we all want it done now but its not a quick gas station."
