"RM AUTOMOTIVE diagnosed the problem with my car and called me shortly thereafter. I authorized the repair and my car was ready two days later. The part was not available the day of the call. The staff a d facility are top notch. They are polite and genuinely concerned with customer satisfaction. I do recommend this shop to anyone who is picky about their car."

"I went in for a check engine light. All it was was the gas cap improperly closed. The same thing happened to my wife's car. Her mechanic just told her to make sure to twist the gas cap tightly and didn't charge anything. RM Automotive however wanted to charge me $50 for a gas cap, $185 for diagnostic, and $185 for a smoke check. RIDICULOUS! They have a coupon for a free check engine light inspection on their website that they did not honor. Never going back again. They are crooks."

"Found RM Automotive on yelp and after ready the great reviews I was also persuaded by their blue check mark on yelp that definitely aided in my decision. I definitely don’t regret making . I brought in my car. And to say that they did a fantastic job is an understatement. Kyle was so patient with me answering all my questing and explaining things in detail. I am truly grateful. They kept my car until I could pick it up the following day after it was ready with no problem. That was greatly appreciated as well. "Do NOT use this auto shop. I've reported them to the CA Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) and disputed the transaction with my bank. I took my car in on 8.16.23 for a diagnosis and special testing for a check engine light. I picked it up on 8.18.23. They said I needed to wait an hour to check to confirm it was ready. I came back and paid $370. Driving the car home I noticed a rattle in the engine compartment. When I got home I observed that they FAILED to install the ENTIRE front windshield wiper assembly. Most all of the pieces were in the trunk! And there was a loose part sitting on top of the engine!!! OMG. These guys let me drive with a part rattling around the engine. And they lied that the car was ready. This was the day before the tropical storm. I had to tape up plastic to keep the engine compartment from flooding b/c it was open to the elements. I could not use the car! Michael the owner emailed but never took the time to call and resolve the issue. For $370 he's engendered an investigation by the CA BAR and negative social media reviews. Kyle was the service advisor who tried to smooth it over, to no avail. I do NOT trust these guys. I believe they do NOT care, do NOT have pride in their work, do NOT tell the truth, and are NOT competent. Worst of all, they let a customer drive in a dangerous condition of their cause. Mike, I read your comments posted on 10.10.23. Thanks for responding. After your call I called you back and emailed you, and the ball was in your court to get back to me which you didn't. I did not return to your shop to fix your negligent work b/c I cannot trust you. I did ask for a refund of the money I paid but you denied it. As I said in my review, this is the result. I'm glad you've put processes in place to fix your internal problems."
