"I love here! The seafoods are so good and fresh!! I ordered combo B it is a lot for two people! The oysters are so delicious! Love the clams as well~"
"Randomly decided to eat here one night and glad we did! My family and I absolutely enjoyed it. We ordered one of the combos, couldn’t remember which one, but all 5 of us were definitely full at the end! Food - it was so interesting and so fun watching it all get cooked. The seafood tasted fresh. The sides were really good. And the noodles were enjoyed. The sauces could be tastier but they worked. The Thai girl in me wanted Thai spicy seafood sauce with all this seafood but it was fine, I’ll bring some next time. The corn cheese was delicious! We ordered a 2nd one. The eel was very interesting, not bad at all, but I like it better on sushi. My family would absolutely go back and eat here again! Service - amazing! The gentleman who was there, he was the only one, was so attentive and so wonderful. He cooked everything and helped check in to make sure things were done or cooked right and explained everything so well. Made our dining experience fantastic. Parking - we got lucky and got a space right out front. Free street parking. Not sure if there’s anything else nearby but luckily we didn’t have to look far."
"I took my out-of-town guest to this place because I wanted to show them some different Korean food that they could not get in the Bay Area. I decided to take them to try Korean seafood BBQ. I have always gone to Jae Bu Do in Koreatown but I don't want my friends to have trouble finding parking in K-town which is notoriously hard to park. So I decided to take them to the Clam House in Monterey Park since I assume it's easier to park there. It's the same type of food with good reviews on Yelp. We visited here on a Thursday and there was no wait. Of course, parking was not a problem. We all found street parking. My friends arrived before I did and secured a table. The first thing they noticed was that the menu was very simple. There were only four options. We inquired about the option suitable for a party of four and we went with Combo C. The dinner began with a shrimp seafood salad, which, honestly, wasn't that exciting but probably the only greens you are going to get for the meal. Then the seafood grilling started. All the seafood was really fresh. My friends were all amazed that the abalone were literally turning around when the server placed them on the grill. Everyone took out the camera to capture the moment. We really enjoyed all the clams, scallops, squid, eel etc. The meal also provided sides like steamed egg, corn with cheese and kimchi pancakes which were all quite good. The two different types of soups cooking on the side were good too. Towards the end, we had giant oysters, which only one of us enjoyed, as the rest of us were not really oyster eaters. The meal ended with noodles followed by half a potato and a sweet potato. They were there to really fill you up if you were still hungry at that point. Overall, all the seafood was fresh and the server was pretty much cooking everything for us. The server was very nice, and my friends suggested they open a branch in the Bay Area since they enjoyed the meal so much. My friends definitely want to come back the next time they are in town. I would recommend anyone who wants to experience Korean seafood BBQ in the SGV area to give this place a try."
"I recently dined at The Clam House, a Korean restaurant, and it was an outstanding experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and excellent service. The interior decor was sleek and modern, which added to the overall ambiance of the restaurant. Now let's talk about the food. The menu had a great selection of dishes, including some Korean classics as well as some unique fusion options. The portions were generous, and the presentation was top-notch. Overall, I highly recommend The Clam House to anyone looking for a fantastic Korean dining experience. The service, ambiance, and food were all exceptional, and I can't wait to go back again soon. (Edit): I took my family and they loved it! I left them a note on the thing they gave me. Not sure what it's called ^^)"
"(10/1/2023) Definitely excellent Korean seafood barbecue if you don't want to go to Korean Town. Service is good but make sure all people arrive because it is a small place, and need to wait if it doesn't have enough people. Prices are worth it in my opinion because seafood is fresh and alive when starting to cook on the grill. Recommended abalone, clam, scallops if you want it cooked. Probably come back if someone wants some seafood barbecue."
