"I have a 2023 Chevy. I wanted the hood scoop that was black painted white. I think they painted the white directly over the black, so gives it a darker contrast, at this point is not done yet still need the emblems installed they couldn’t get them I’m supposed to come back, hopefully they repaint and make it look better."

"Lots of overspray issues. The roof rails on my Nissan Xterra have gaps where things were not masked off thoroughly. Same for body trim and my front passenger tire. Noticeable overspray and my door jams are not uniformly painted even after paying for the service. I paid extra and it looks faded. Do yourself a favor and know paint codes ahead of time. Showing a google photo may not get you what you want. That’s more my fault. The workmanship is substandard. Scratched up my bumper too. It somehow looks rushed even after being in the shop for 15 days. Edit: Found more signs of under and over spray. Added the photos. Also, Maaco's out reach was not an offer to fix the defects. It was to paint again at further cost. A discount they said. Unacceptable. Edit 2: It’s been almost a year since Maaco repainted my Xterra. For a few months the passenger window wouldn’t close properly. The repair shop said a plastic part of the paneling was bend awkwardly, likely from someone removing this panel and not setting it properly. Only people to remove my door panels was Maaco. They cost me $380 in additional repairs on top of a horrible paint job. Avoid these people at ALL cost."
