"I would like to give a grand and loud shout out to Team Schatz & Krum for always doing a terrific job on servicing my nearly 20 year old Porsche 996 911. I just picked up my vehicle on Friday for a large service due and it drives smooth like butter. I have been coming to this shop the last 3-4 years because they were highly recommended by a friend of a friend. Prior to discovering this shop I was taking my Porsche for regular maintenance to Niello Porsche, where I originally purchased the vehicle right off the showroom floor and from my experience, Schatz & Krum has been 30%-40% cheaper on the maintenance in comparison. I think the general manager, Johnny doesn’t miss a beat and is on top of everything. He quarterbacks me in with each step of the way. Stuart (the owner) treats me like family and gives me a sense that he and his team take care of my Porsche as if it was their own. I am grateful to find this shop because they are honest and transparent. Thanks again!"

"I took my BMW here for an insurance appraisal and work. The estimate amounted to a little over $4,000. However, it turned out my Insurance company would only pay for body work and deemed the other issues normal wear and tear. Eventually, this led to my filing a complaint with the California Insurance Board. Months later I called Schatz & Krum to pay for the repairs my self. The guy got an attitude and said he didn’t want to have anything to do with my car since I didn’t go with them on the insurance repair. Seriously? You’re supposed to be the professionals. You know insurance companies will not pay for normal wear and tear. But this just shows they are unprofessional here, and work with feelings. If they refused service to me over a tantrum, Im sure they have and will do it again over other reasons—ie, your political party; sexual preference; race; or even religion. Depending on how they FEEL they may deny you service, which really isn’t a problem being they are a small mom and pop operation and not the only shop in town. But they may also feign service and sabotage your vehicle. I’d just stay away from this place. The guy who answers the phone is always on his period. #girlymen"

"Johnny shop manager was very smug, rude and indifferent to me. Estimate for car repair $10,000. Unfortunately, the car got stuck there for 10 days due to a Family Emergency I had to attend to In Los Angeles and he was trying to charge me $60 a day for storage on top of the $156 to run diagnostics. I am a single Mom. I only had the car for 4months $5,000 Is what I paid and they told me $10,000 to fix all the problems. It wasn't worth spending that kind of money. Knowing all this and the guy has the nerve to tell me that I will owe him another $600 for storage??;???I'm sorry $756 for a car that wasn't worth $1000 anymore. I refused to pay storage fees. Paid him $156 and scraped the car ....very sad. Thing is he could have treated me better as a human being. I would not recommend this shop."

"Thanks Stuart and Johnny. After having my car at Porsche rocklin for a month with all kinds of drama and $10000 estimate these guys did the job quick at a fraction of the cost. I even had them do a post purchase inspection (yes that’s the opposite of how you should do it). And they checked it out and diagnosed a vibration for no charge. Thanks, love having Porsche back"
