"On May 2016, I took my vehicle in to service my oil and replace my air filter. I usually bring in my own parts. Due to a previous service inconvenience at the location. The manager expressed he was going to take care of me. I have always been a loyal customer to Midas. I have been servicing all 3 vehicles at the Arden location because I believe that was the easiest way to monitor and keep a record of all my vehicle maintenance's. On 5/25/19 I decided to have a friend replace my air filter since it's been 3yrs. Upon removing the air filter, I noticed that the filter was the original Mercedes part. Which meant that Midas never replaced my air filter. I called to acquire about the service record on my vehicle. The counter clerk advised the vehicle was service in May 2016. After expressing my concern, she automatically changed the story and stated she is not sure if the vehicle was ever serviced. I requested to have a manager contact me regarding my complaint. The counter clerk took my information down but I have not receive any follow up calls to address my concern."
"Really disappointed in waiting time. I made an appointment days ahead of time. 50 minutes after the appointment time, my car is still in queue to make it into the garage. I don’t think it’s good practice to service walk-ins before people who made an appointment. I still gave 3 stars because they do have good customer service (other than the wait). I will probably go back but will not come on a Saturday again. A new manager started 1 week ago and he is likable and seems trustworthy."
"Came in to do a car alignment on a Sunday. They were great and fast.. they told me that I didn't actually didn't need an alignment instead of taking my money.. Ray the mechanic took time to explain and I appreciate his honesty and integrty.. as well the front desk lady was very professional and courteous I highly recommend.."
"Overall a generally happy experience over the last several years. For the most part, they didn't try to up-sell me on things I didn't need. The last time I was in there for an oil change they had a piece of paper showing the three oil options for an oil change. I come in regularly to change my oil (and my car doesn't need any special oil). The salesman pointed to the two more expensive synthetic oil options. I asked if there was a reason not to use the cheapest option. He said my car required the most expensive (synthetic option). I knew this simply not to be the case. I asked if he had actually checked the system for my year and model. He said "no." I told him on wanted to go with the least expensive option. He said "fine, it's your car." In other words, I'm an idiot for choosing one of their three options. Really? Won't be going back if they can't speak to me intelligently and respectfully."
"I came to this location because I heard that they were better than the other ones. I drove out of my way to come here for an oil change. Several other people came in while I was there and they were Given a discount for their oil change. I wasn't even offered one. My window quit working and was given an estimate of the cost to fix it but then they turn around and said it would be twice as much as the original estimate to fix it. But did anyone offer a discount for all this time and money (I was there almost 4 hours), no, no one offered a discount for all this. The workmen put paper on the seat of the cars of other customers to keep the cars clean but not mine. I had dirt on the seat of the car that I had to brush out before I could get in. I was Very Disappointed with my visit to this location. I should have gone to my regular store."
