"My family has been coming to Brett at BAC for decades. I’ve had the privilege of knowing him since we were kids and I can attest to what other reviewers have said, that he truly is an honest man who will give it to you straight. It is simply against his strong Christian values to do otherwise. Unfortunately there are plenty of mechanics out there who ARE dishonest so it’s natural and understandable to be suspicious but I can assure you that you can relax at BAC. Sure, car repair bills can be frustratingly high, but unfortunately that’s just how it is anywhere you go. I had to laugh when I read another reviewer’s comment, “I overheard the price the parts dealer quoted him and he turned around and quoted me a price 50% higher!”, as if he was being swindled. That’s called a markup my friend, and it’s standard practice in every retail business. What, you expected him to sell you the part at cost, making zero profit? This is a business, not a charity."

"I really wanted to believe this guy was trustworthy and am very disappointed that he's not. As he was on the phone ordering a part for my car, I overheard the person he was speaking with give him the price (loud and clear). He hung up the phone, turned to me and gave me a price that was 50% HIGHER than the actual cost. He was even dishonest about where he purchased the part. The labor was another price that did not include the part for the car. It's really pathetic how some people live their lives."

"I have been calling around the Sacramento area to see if any shops would installed a customer-supplied part. Came across BAC Motors and they accepted my request (mainly because the O2 sensor that I had was a legit OEM part, something all other mechanic shops should bother asking the customer). The guy (forgot his name!) I talked to was very considerate and polite. He did not give me attitude like some of the other auto shop guys did. Matter of fact, the guy that I talked to was rather enthusiastic about taking on the challenge. That's a characteristic that caught my attention and made me feel good about the auto shop (as of now until work has been conducted on my vehicle). I will be dropping off my vehicle tomorrow morning. I will give an update after my vehicle has been worked on, so I can share a legit experience with you all! Due to the other reviews I've read about BAC Motors, I will rate a four star for now until I get an update."
