"UPDATE: I got a call today from the manager at Quick Lube after he saw my review. He took the time to call, ask me about the situation, try to understand what happened, recognize that I've been a customer since my car was brand new and offer better customer service in the future. What more can a customer ask for? I always say in my professional life that you don't know anything about a person until you have a conflict. I appreciated the time that was taken to understand my original review. This made Quick Lube go from 2-stars to 5 for me. My original 2 star review: It's been bugging me since my oil change last month. I was in a hurry and paid the higher price of $196.05 thinking maybe it was inflation? I should have asked why it was so high at the time. That's on me. But I'm putting bills away and see the receipt. The receipt says: "Customer Request Perform Crank Case Cleaning Service" for $119.96. I can assure you if I knew a "cleaning" would cost me that much, I wouldn't have agreed to it. I don't recall being asked this question. I certainly know I wasn't asked with a "this will cost you $120" because I would have said "no". I don't plan to pay $200 for an oil change in the future and I sure hope my crank case is really, really clean."
