"All 4 chargers by the Borrego Springs Chamber of Commerce were out of service or decommissioned on 12/28/2023. As best as we can tell, there is only a single functioning charger in all of Borrego Springs, located by the library. It is a slow 7Kw charger and can only do a single vehicle at a time. Next closest charger heading west is by Julian (slow) and Ramona (fast). Heading northeast, there are fast chargers in Indio and the Palm Springs area."

"First off, glad to find a Level 2 charger in the middle of the desert. *However* the screen plates are so weathered down that you are unlikely to be able to read the screens. Tip: once you activate charging from the Blink app, press on the top right area on the station's screen to get the charging going. Also seems like only station #1 (by the handicap parking) is functional."
