Reviews of Kazuki Sushi
"My new sushi spot"
"Sushi at Kazuki is okay, but not thrilling. The rolls are very visually appealing but weren't phenomenal. Service was also okay. We did enjoy the edemame and the prices were reasonable. It wasn't the best sushi I've ever had but would potentially return."
"The food was absolutely amazing, i ordered and went to wash my hands. By the time I was back, the appetizers were already on the table. We ordered both sashimi and specialty rolls and were both amazing. But the tempura cheesecake was truly immaculate and worth trying!"
"This place wasn’t great nor terrible but it lands really in the dead center of really mediocre overall service and that’s being generous considering the list of complaints I have, and this is coming from somebody that never leaves reviews. We can start from the very first major inconvenience which is their disastrous parking situation that happens to be connected to a dozen or so auto body shops that also stuffs its cars in the same lot. We had to wait no joke about 20 minutes just to pull into a really tight and compact space that eventually ended up getting blocked in by a car from one of the body shops and we spent another 15 minutes after we finished our meal trying to find out who in the restaurant blocked us in. The food quality was alright, nothing too special but at the end of the night we were charged a whopping $150.00 for sushi in the more ghetto part of North Hollywood, not Beverly Hills or even Sherman Oaks, in which for half the price we could’ve gotten waaayyy higher quality all you can eat sushi or something equivocally closer to $150.00 worth. Certain items such as the oysters and uni were unmarked with price and came out to really absurd prices after the fact. For example, we paid $16 for 4 of the tiniest oysters I’ve ever seen, literally 1/3 the size of an oyster you’d see ANYWHERE. The rolls were tasty and creative, but once again in the average to mediocre range for sushi. The food quality wasn’t disappointing more so just underwhelming. The wait times for rolls were also pretty ridiculous considering we had large chunks of time where we were just sitting waiting for the next order to come in. Usually it’s meant to come out faster than it’s being eaten. The servers were very friendly and receptive and definitely made the experience a lot better although that alone can’t save this review. But overall I don’t think I’d come back here, just the parking situation alone keeps me up at night but for the price-point they charged for 2 people, I’d much rather go somewhere way nicer and get still higher service for half the price. I would give it 2.5 stars if I could but unfortunately that’s not an option so it falls a bit short, the following list reflects our experience. Atmosphere 3/5 Food Quality 3/5 Location 2/5 Parking 1/5 Price 2/5 Service 4/5 15 / 6 for an average rating of 2.5"
"Yummy and tender. Ordered the Jalapeno Bomb, Kazuki roll & Tuna Torpedo roll. All very delicious; fresh with a good rice to fish ratio and the portion was bigger than expected for the Kazuki roll which was my favorite. The place is pretty big, high ceiling makes it feel veey spacious. It's in a kinda odd location with auto body shops around but not too hard to find. Staff was friendly and pleasant. Parking available on the street, can't recall if they had a lot or not."
