"I want to thank Ben the main mechanic for his honesty and great work he does every time his worked on my cars. He is honest and doesn't push you to do any another work then need it on your vehicle. I also thank him for working on my Ford F150 even tho he only Specializes in Honda, Accura & Toyota vehicles. I have been coming here for many years. "Nowadays, it’s hard to find an honest mechanic. This used to be the case with this shop. It’s actually a mom and pop shop, but a very dirty and disorganized one at that. I don’t know why they don’t advertise maybe because word of mouth sees them through but the place hygienically? It should be shut down by a state inspector. It is past the point of filthy. But you don’t go to a mechanic to hang out in the lobby of luxury. It’s faaar from a dealership. You go there because you’re supposed to be offered a way better price than dealership hourly rates. This used to be the case with this mom and pop shop but not anymore. Everything is singularly charged. They don’t give quotes to you even on paper after a certain amount of time. The rude receptionist needs to go to Customer Service school and be taught how to be polite to customers whether they call in or email or text or regular snail mail or even in person. I got my cart tuned up there three weeks ago and she was constantly on her cell phone playing games and is not professional whatsoever I think the owner used to do most of the work, but now he has another mechanic (probably illegal) do all the grunt work. There’s another female in there that’s older and she may answer the phone when she feels like, takes care of orders and parts and is supposed to call customers back. My friends have told me that she doesn’t call customers back so they lose business but what do they care? They feel they’re doing OK especially before, during and after the pandemic. My friend say that the shop has changed, AND they’re just as expensive as the dealer and what a shame to now be able to rip people off due to greed. I give this filthy shop 2 stars because the owner/mechanic does know at least hey USED to know what he’s talking about when it comes to foreign motors as his business cards do say that they are experts in Honda/Acura but once a true mechanic learns their craft? They can work on ANY foreign motor Japanese or not. my buddy says he sees Hyundai as well as Toyota as well as Lexus cars in the past My son and other family WILL NO LONGER be going there anymore. It’s WWAAAAAY too expensive, way too filthy and old business and new business actually is not appreciated any longer. But like they old saying goes: what goes around, comes around. Customers do not have to accept the abuse and the outright disrespect from their staff. They should say what they mean and mean what they say but they don’t but one day I feel it will catch up to them for a private and filthy shop to become as expensive or more expensive than a dealership is outrageous. And you’re not allowed to ask an opinion about this, or that, because the mechanic seems to be irritated when you ask for your own personal sake/knowledge. My buddies have told me that in the past they were able to bring in their own parts but somebody’s there stopped at practice and it’s not a matter of them, making a profit from it… It’s just That other rude, non-hygienic female in there tends to change their supposed policies at will and that’s not how you run the business it’s most unprofessional. Thank God I found a local mechanic in Moreno Valley if I have to drive a little further to San Bernardino, I will because it’s not just about getting my car fixed at an honest rate… It’s about the whole Customer Service experience. Genuine Tech is for the birds. They were probably good back in their day, but not anymore. So customers? BEWARE. I will be taking my Acura and Toyota elsewhere."
"Ben is amazing. Reliable, quick, charges reasonably and I couldn’t have been happier he helped me. I was having problems with my honda accord, trying to get help for a couple of days until I decided to give Genuine Tech’s a call. I know of this place from reference and it did not disappoint. 2 days before thanksgiving, I call Ben and he has me tow it in to work on the same hour and I get it back before closing time. Amazing work, he went the extra mile. Thank you Ben!"
"Trustworthy, proficient. This place is awesome. I called at 10am to get some things looked at for my Honda and showed up around 10:30am. Ben (the awesome mechanic) looked at the problems I had, and within two hours I was happily driving off thinking of what else they could help me out with for next time. Give them a call!
