"I brought my car in on 02/23/2024 to change the tire with nail (front passenger). They replaced the tire with a defective tire with bulge on the side but I didnt notice it until 02/29/2024. I called Pesnke Cerritos Service to let them know about the situation. They told me to bring the car in. Due to safety reasons, we had it towed to the dealer only to be told that we have to bring it to tire shop where “i got the tire”. I told them repeatedly that we got the tire from Penske Cerritos, but they insist for me to tow the car AGAIN to “the tire shop” without giving me any further information. They didn’t want to replace the defective tire and send us incorrect information or no information at all. They didn’t give the information of where I can get that warranty from until I requested it to he escalated to their supervisor. Clearly, the customer service representatives lack knowledge and accountability since they sent me bring my car in to the service before assessing my concerns. DO NOT GET CAR SERVICE FROM THEM. IT’S A SCAM. THEY OVERCHARGE YOU AND REPLACE PARTS WITH DEFECTIVE ONES."
"I took my son’s car in for an oil change, he had an appointment for. The service rep told him the service was FREE. My son had purchased an extended warranty and of course, over time, it expired, with NO CONTACT from the service center. When I walked in to wait at the PARTS counter, I was ignored by the attendant. He didn’t even acknowledge me or say anything! I walked over to the SERVICE COUNTER. I asked the guy there about an oil change and he asked for information, after I gave it to him, he asked me to drive the car up to the lane for service, and asked me to wait in the lobby. I asked him how much it would cost me, and he told me it would be NO CHARGE. So I got out and sat in the lobby. He returned with a PRICE QUOTE of $80!!! I was indignant! In my old age the price made me forget he had already told me NO CHARGE! I quickly called my son and he spoke with the rep through my phone. It’s funny, how the attitude changes since now they need the money or no service! I walked to his desk because my son received a text from someone at the Service Center, that said they would “go ahead” and service the vehicle. It was back and forth like TAG! No, not Tag but more like MONKEY BUSINESS!! My son told me to just leave, and I did. I lost TRUST in their ability to perform a SERVICE to the Vehicle! That TRUST my friend is very important to have! Go somewhere else, my Friends, that’ll be worth it!"
"Call backs suck. They never call me back. BUT... I did drive in with no appt to get an oil change and the service reps are fast. I think I dealt with a Sabrina. She was great."
"Went to Penske Chevy to return my lease and was told i would have to wait 2 hrs for the manager to get in cause no one could help me. This is after i had to wait almost 5 hours to lease it in the first place. Chevy has lost me as a customer for life after my experience with the volt and i will never recommend a Chevy 2 anyone. I'm glad i bought a Tesla. If you need a good rep to actually help you with a Chevy go to Fernando Cruz at George Chevrolet in bellflower he helped me return the car and was great."
"Wow! This place is beyond over priced. I wanted a few estimates for a couple of interior repairs. I was shocked at the quotes. I had a missing tiny screw for the visor mirror cover. They said the entire visor would have to be replaced! For a mirror cover made of plastic. They wanted $194. They sell the whole visors online for $25-50 dollars. But, the reason I am crying right now is for a whole other matter. I had previously replaced a door lock sensor with success. I noticed that my other rear door wasn't unlocking each time. They said it would be about $600 dollars a door. Also, that my other door sensor was going out too. So, it would be about $1,200 for both doors. I said that was too expensive so I would need to pass. I just picked up my car. Now, the door I had previously fixed won't lock or unlock. They had to go out of their way to remove or break that doors sensor. All three passengers doors won't lock or unlock after I asked them to check one door. It can't be a coincidence. I know he wasn't happy that I didn't want to do the pricey repairs. I never imagined that they would sabotage my previously fixed door out of spite."
