"Ruben in the detail shop is AMAZING! I was in a parking lot with my dog in my back seat and a random dog came up and jumped up on my car and put a bunch of scratches on my rear passenger door. I wasn’t sure how extensive the repair would be but I called Elk Grove Custom and they told me they could see me same day. They evaluated my car and determined it only needed to be buffed out and I was in and out in less than an hour and the price was reasonable. You can’t even tell there were scratches before!! "Rhonda, the receptionist, is a doll. She's always friendly and welcoming, even remembering me after only a few times in the shop. There was damage to the passenger's front side of my 2023 Nissan Sentra, and It was in the shop for about three weeks due to parts, more damage than expected, and insurance. They were very thorough, sending my car to Nissan for final inspection and then detailing it inside and out (resistall). The only drawbacks were not being updated as often as I would have liked from my service advisor, and they were not able to provide my insurance, the original resistall purchase which I purchased when I bought my car, and they offered the service. However, they provided me with a quote for the resistall for the repaired sections so I can try to get my insurance to pay. It's a bummer that I need to handle that part because they didn't have an invoice for the original resistall order. Also, I don't like the new way they deal with rental cars. The old way was way better and faster. Drop off your car and get keys to another, no paperwork, no hassle. Now, you have to have a credit card deposit, which the amount is placed on hold until you return the car; you must give them your insurance information, wait for them to do the paperwork, and then inspect the rental with you for previous damages; it took about an hour to get a rental car and a few days for my credit card company to release the hold. I most likely won't do rentals with them. Other than that, I will only take my vehicles to them."
