"While waiting in line I was disgusted and in shock to see the person at the register wear the same latex gloves while handling the register (touching money), iPad and grabbing people’s food out of the oven (So so unsanitary) I will definitely not be going back to this Philz location. The person at the register was also really careless and getting the food out was more important than greeting the customer or at least letting them know he’ll be right with them. He also made a mistake of calling my drink out as cold when I specifically said “hot not cold” I had to wait a lot longer than I should have…terrible service."

"This was at the beautiful Transbay Terminal in SF, and was my first time at a Philz. The entrance door's "Disabled" opening mechanism wasn't functioning, so I struggled with the heavy door. Just inside, an idle server watched me struggling, chuckled, and said the opener hasn't been working for awhile -- I guess that's cool with Philz. When I ordered coffee, he asked if I wanted milk and sugar, and I said yes. Down the bar, the cup of coffee showed up with the amount and kind of milk and sugar Philz must think is just right for every customer. I'll chalk these irritants up to my not knowing the culture here. After all, I was Fresh-Off-The-Bus from the East Bay."

"Delicious as always but one of the slowest locations I've been to. There was only one person in front of me and after 10 minutes my order still wasn't ready. Seems to be a high volume of online orders that get prioritized. I was gonna miss my bus so ended up having to just leave and lose the $6. They should probably switch this to a mobile order only site and just lose the walk up ordering"

"My experience at this place was absolutely disastrous. I decided to try their so-called coffee mocha, but what I received was a complete disappointment. I waited for a frustrating 45 minutes only to be handed a cold and horribly tasting coffee. Seriously? Did it really take that long for something so simple? But that's not all, the most infuriating part was watching them serve the orders of customers who came in after me. Do they have no sense of order or priority? I felt completely ignored and undervalued as a customer, while others were attended to without any issues. The abysmal service they provide at this place is simply unacceptable. Not only did they fail in delivering a decent quality product, but they also demonstrated a complete lack of organization and respect towards those of us who trusted them to enjoy a simple cup of coffee. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. It's a complete waste of time and money!"
