"Went to the lunch buffet and my wife didn’t want to have the buffet so she ordered tikka masala. The server took her order and it was placed at the table prior to me returning from the buffet (very odd). The masala didn’t taste like masala at all! And I have no clue how the made the meal in less that 4 minutes! The server gave us water and then never came back to the table. Instead of helping us they watched TV and I had to walk up to ask for the bill and a box to go. Overall bad experience and would not recommend anyone to go here."

"This place has gone downhill horribly. It used to be the best Indian food restaurant in Redding but I can't recommend it anymore. I have been going there for years and I will not ever be going back! The lunch buffet today was very poorly prepared, the dishes were watery, the meat was not cut properly, the vegetables were not cooked all the way, and I found a thin 2 inch stick in my food! My friend suggested it might have been a spice of some kind, but even if it was it should never have been served, because it was a stick. The staff never smile anymore. When we went to pay they initially said the $20 gift certificate that I had been given that was purchased there only 2 months prior to our visit had expired at the end of the year! I was completely shocked that they would refuse to accept a gift certificate they had sold to a friend of mine only two months back! I demanded that they call the manager, who told them to accept the gift certificate."

"I got my orders from here from uber eats so I cannot comment on the atmosphere. But the food is great. I got multiple vegetarian dishes and would recommend this place as a great vegetarian restaurant (but they have meat dishes too). Do yourself a favor and get the dinner combos instead of the one plate. It comes with an assortment of things to try and is very much worth the extra money."

"Please stay away from here. Worst chicken ever. Very hard to chew. Who in the world will cook a chicken 65 and chili chicken in non chewable way. I had chicken 65 and chili chicken in many places within usa, but this is far worst. By the way, its for sure old chicken, expired product for sure, as inside the chicken it looks black. Even if they give it for free, throw it away."

"We were on our return trip from mt. Shasta and found this place nearby and economical. Dinner buffet was Available so we choose veg and non veg dinner buffet. Only chicken leg piece was tasty anc cauliflower pickle was good and tasty in veg option. The ambience, friendly staff were all good but I would highly suggest to change the chef or improvise the taste. Mutton and potato curry: Mutton or lamb pieces were very small and all I saw was potato and nothing else. Food tasted and smelt stale. Please serve fresh food for your customers. Dinner buffet was $19/person. Also, the buffet was closed by 8pm sharp. Restroom is also available. I feel sorry to write this honest review but I had to in hope that you will try to improvise the taste or change the chef and staff to see an improvement."
